* MadeOfIron: His shell is pretty tough.
* ToServeMan: His entire MO is to kill humans and feed them to the ''Unawakened'' Amazons at his restaurant.
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: [[spoiler: Much of Season 2's plot and main conflict can be indirectly pinned on him, as Mamoru chancing across one of his 'manburgers' causes his partial awakening, forcing him to leave human society at the end of Season 1.]]
* VillainousBreakdown: It's ambiguous exactly how "villainous" he is, but he starts losing it when his plans go down the tubes and [[spoiler: His Amazons Register indicates he's awakening.]]

* TragicMonster: She only wanted to live a peaceful life, but eventually awakened despite her efforts and had to be put down.

* BrainFood: Prefers to feed on human brains by sucking them through the ear canal.
* MorallyAmbiguousDoctorate: Is a doctor, and uses that position to entrap his next victims/meals.
!!Rose Amazon/Shuuya
* BaitAndSwitch: We're led to believe the Rose Amazon is a beautician working at a salon who decapitates her victims. The Amazon turns out to be her boyfriend, and understandably gets enraged when 4C wounds her while assuming she was the Amazon.

* MagicPants: Somehow keeps his pants on even when transformed.
* OffWithHisHead: His favored killing method.
* SomethingAboutARose.
* TragicVillain: Shuuya is an example of an Amazon that tries to live a normal life with a human fiancee named Emily. However, she gets shot and he kills those involved. When he sees Emily, he decapitates her to end her suffering. Then he dies at the hands of Omega and Neo.
