* NebulousEvilOrganization: A sinister underground group originating from the Amazon out to obtain the Gigi Armlet.

* VestigialEmpire: Some sources trace their origin to the dynasty of the ancient [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parthian_Empire Parthian Empire]].

* DecoyLeader: He introduces himself as the leader of the Garanda Empire, and seems to take Golgos's position as BigBad, but two episodes after his debut it becomes clear that he's only the acting commander and communicates with the true ruler of the Garanda Empire.

* TheManBehindTheMan: [[spoiler:After he is unmasked by Amazon, he reveals that he was behind both Garanda and Geddon.]]

* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: For the [[Series/KamenRider Great Leader]], being a mysterious figure hooded in [[TheKlan Klan]]-robes who communicates as a disembodied voice.

* BatmanGambit: He may be a {{Hulk Speak}}ing WildChild, but don't confuse that for stupidity. He once used a complicated plan based on his knowledge of all involved, depending on everyone acting precisely as they did, ''including'' getting the villains to think that ''they'' were the ones who knew ''his'' plans and were gambitting ''him.'' Yes, Amazon pulled off an IKnowYouKnowIKnow, ''level three or four!''

** Altough as mentioned above, if he isn't able to directly confront his opponent, Daisuke can become quite the conniving hunter.

** SPIRITS takes this to new levels - he can easily cut arms in two (right down the middle), and that picture up at the top? That's Salamander/Tokage-Roid learning the hard way that Amazon can [[spoiler:cut heads in two as well.]] His Super Daisetsudan (available when Amazon combines the Gaga Armlet with the Gigi Armlet on his right arm for extra power) can cleave something the size of a ''T-Rex''.

* {{Flanderisation}}: In his own show, Amazon initially struggled with Japanese, but managed to pick it up fairly quickly and could pass for a native speaker in Stronger, Skyrider and RX. Come Heisei, and Amazon is incapable of speaking anything more complex than YouNoTakeCandle levels of Japanese. This culminates in the comedic net movies giving him PokemonSpeak, in which he can only say "Amazon" or Masahiko's name.

* BewareTheNiceOnes: Amazon may be the most violent Rider, but his rage is restrained to actual bad guys. He's a FriendToAllLivingThings besides, and when misunderstanding humans begin attacking him, he will always flee rather than harm them. There's really no reason to fear him if you're not a monster trying to harm innocents. If you ''are,'' though, there ''will'' be HighPressureBlood, eye-gouging, limbs severed via teeth, and so forth.

* CoolBike: The Jungler. One frame in SPIRITS implies that it has some degree of sentience, though this might just be a joke.
* EveryoneCallsHimBarkeep: While his real name is brought up, for the most part everyone calls him "Amazon" even out of his transformation.

* FriendToAllChildren: Amazon himself being a WildChild, this is no surprise. And [[Series/KamenRiderX GOD]] (yes, the organization; yes, the ''whole'' organization) help you if [[BerserkButton you bring harm to one he knows personally.]]

* HenshinHero: Although unlike the other Riders, his body is mystically augmented rather than mechanically - Amazon is actually ''biological'', compared to his technological Rider brethren. (This brings up an interesting point about the word "Kaizou-Ningen", usually translated as "Cyborg" in English. "Kaizou" means to modify, in the sense of remodeling and improvement, and does not necessarily indicate doing so with artificial enhancements. Thus Amazon is in fact a "Kaizou-Ningen" like the other Riders, just not in a way that translates smoothly.)
* TheHero: As one would expect. Particularly given, brutal fighting style aside, he's a pretty heroic guy.

* CurbStompBattle: The final battle with [[spoiler:Zero the Great]] mainly consists of Amazon walking up to him and taking him apart like a roast chicken. Justified as Amazon had [[spoiler:both the Gigi Armlet and the Gaga Armlet at the time, which are supposed to grant their wielder great power]].
