* {{Foil}}: Plays off Melantha as being almost her exact opposite. While Corin is more calm, contemplative, and hardworking for the sake of himself and others, Melantha is boisterous, obnoxious, and always seeking glory for her own benefits.

* MadScientist: His specialty pretty much involves tampering around with about anything he wants, his current project involving him taking the used dishes and pieces of hair from workers.

* DefrostingIceKing: Corin is normally quite aloof though he can be surprisingly friendly once he loosens up. He especially starts to defrost once he gets closer to Brosephus.

* TheChewToy: Steven often gets pulled into some compromising and painful situations normally for the sake of protecting someone else.

* TheReliableOne: Steven is easily one of the most loyal and trustworthy employees out of an overwhelmingly large staff.

* TheQuietOne: He tends to pantomime things rather than actually say anything and has only ever talked to others off screen. Even when he's attacked by the living tree, he doesn't utter a single word, let alone a shout of pain.

* BitchInSheepsClothing: [[spoiler: Acts rather cordial during "Polite Conversation" as her and Corin discuss there current situation and comes to terms about her lack of a prophecy to follow. She even gives him a friendly kiss on the cheek before wishing him goodnight. Cue a few weeks later where she infiltrates the cooperation anyway, makes herself Chief Evil Executive, and torments Kakos Industries for her own amusement.]]

* DepravedBisexual or PsychoLesbian: Could be either, the depravity and psychotic personality being very obvious at this point. Her exact preference isn't entirely clear yet though her not being straight is certified as of "Refuge" when, [[spoiler: she breaks up the lesbian couple specifically so she could romance Maggie.]]

* FauxAffablyEvil: Any slight glimmer of kindness from her is not to be trusted. [[spoiler: She almost seems genuinely polite, if a bit morally jaded at first, until it's revealed that she was taking advantage of Corin's sympathy and found a way to take control of the company by her own means.]]

* SirSwearsALot: ''Oh boy''. Corin's professional swearing can be experienced in about every broadcast to the point saying "fuck" is practically his VerbalTic.

* SleptThroughTheApocalypse: [[spoiler: Though the company he works for is in complete turmoil, Dr. Dunklewissen is content with staying cooped up in his lab and not getting involved.]]

* DeadpanSnarker: Often overlapping with GentlemanSnarker. His narration and a lot of his conversations often include at least one snarky remark.

* {{Irony}}: Tends to suggeat replacing anyone that might be an inconvenience with "better" versions, no matter how important that person might be to someone else. Oddly enough, Corin could be seen as a byproduct of this mindset as his whole life is built around being an improved substitute over his grandfather.

* ManOfWealthAndTaste: Corin has been stated at least once to wear a suit, wore a spider bracelet purely for the fashion statement, and normally smells like an exclusively made cologne.

* MrExposition: Due to one of his jobs being the provider of the announcements, he does give all the information necessary to better understand how the company generally works as well as introducing people the shareholders may not know about.

The current CEO of Kakos Industries and the grandson of it's past owner, Corin Deeth I. After taking place as the new executive, it is now Corin's duty to ensure his company's success as well as take up the tradition of doing the Shareholder Announcements every month. He functions as the central narrator as well as an occasional voice of reason.

* AffablyEvil: Despite a rather smug personality, Corin is all around a polite person who tries to be cordial with everyone.

* BenevolentBoss: Despite being the latter at times, Corin is shown to reapect and appreciate certain employees. One of his nicest gestures is the time he bought Soundman Steven a gift in exchange for cooperating in a crisis.

* CantKillYouStillNeedYou: [[spoiler: Corin's life is only considered a priority to Belladonica and her people because his signature is necessary to withhold control of the company. Though he does avoid doing that, him signing a contract that releases them from the chamber and making it easier for Belladonica to infiltrate does make him much less valuable and just another person to get rid of.]]

* DefrostingIceKing: Corin is normally quite aloof though he can be surprisingly friendly once he loosens up. He especially starts to defrost once he develops some fondness for Brosephus.

* ExperiencedProtagonist: Though the series does revolve around Corin finally becoming an official executive, he has been preparing to be an efficient CEO since he was a child and has spent all his life studying up to that point.

* MrFanservice: It's hard to deny his voice is pretty dreamy. It may be the only input given about his physical attractiveness, though it doesn't stop listeners from eating up any sexy imagery he might offer in luscious detail.

* NotSoDifferent: Though he isn't exactly fond of Belladonica, he states that share quite a few similarities such as the same problems with loneliness.

* SugarAndIcePersonality: Alternates between being frigid and snarky to warm and understanding depending on the situation. He's actually quite good at giving well meaning advice though will jump back to his usual business-speak within a few seconds.

* WeCanRuleTogether: Shows interest in merging his company with Melantha and offers her a job at his company during "Intercepted" but is declined.

* YankTheDogsChain: Sometimes it seems predetermined that Corin will be misled or fail something no matter how hard he tries to prevent it. Some examples being unable to deactivate the murderous A.I. Helena and his supposed AuraVision powers just being [[spoiler: another symptom of his excessive Evil taking toll on his mental state.]]

* HoneyTrap: [[spoiler: This was pretty much her job when she worked for General Evil years ago as means to distract Corin Deeth I during his work-not that he was bothered by it and eagerly flirted right back at her. Even when she does have place of a CEO decades later, she still does just because she enjoys it.]]

* DepravedBisexual or PsychoLesbian: Could be either, the depravity and psychotic personality being very obvious at this point. And sure, Hailey has been learning some tips from Melantha for the past few months, but even her amount of skill at being a temporary executive is alarmingly fast. Especially when you consider Corin and Melantha spent years out of their lives just to meet their respective cooperation's standards.

They are still legally bound to one another via contract though she only has platonic feelings towards him.]]

* InLoveWithYourCarnage: After seeing Hailey consume the three men at the Sex Tea Party, Melantha offers Hailey a job and regularly engages in sex with her.

* {{Tsundere}}: ''So much'' towards Corin. When he interrupts her broadcast she ends up babbling about being hired as a sex slave for him all in obscene detail and states that she would find a sense of weakness for submitting to his charms along with trying to mock his physique.

* VocalEvolution: In-Universe. One of the first things Corin notices about her is that "her voice changed again" when she's first introduced in "Heartbeats". Along with her appearance, she's willing to alter her voice as well for the sake of Evil. As noted, her current voice is vastly different than [[spoiler: the voice she had during the sixties.]]

* BiTheWay: He expresses attraction to women many times though a great deal of "Bondage" and "Skirmish" confirm that he certainly isn't straight.

* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: Normally finishes off his letters telling his grandson how much he loves him and that he has high hopes with the company being in the newest generation's hands. [[spoiler: He also genuinely loved Melantha.]]

* JiveTurkey: His voice and mannerisms during the announcements are about as jazzy as his backtrack.

* CantKillYouStillNeedYou: [[spoiler: Corin's life is only considered a priority to Belladonica and her people because his signature is necessary to withhold control of the company. Afterwards, him being killed is the next step of the plan.]]

* BiTheWay: If the events that occur in "Bondage" are anything to go by. Corin is clearly attracted to women though he spends all of the episode being [[spoiler: sexually aroused and eventually kissed by what he presumes to be a man wearing a cloak.]]

* DisappearedDad: Though he is The Third of his family, he got his current position on behalf of his grandfather while his father continues to be absent.

* TheReliableOne: Steven is easily one of the most loyal and trustworthy employees out of an overwhelmingly large staff. [[spoiler: When Belladonica is terrorizing the company, he's one of few people Corin brings down to sanctuary.]]

Oddly enough, Corin could be seen as a byproduct of this mindset as his whole life is built around being an improved substitute over his grandfather.

* NoSocialSkills: Spending his childhood studying business gave him issues relating with the other children. Though he does have friends in his adult years, he still has a few moments where he can come off as emotionally detached which is what prompts the board to assign him a friend.

* ScrewTheRulesIHaveMoney: There are more than a few times Corin prompts the idea of gathering up replacements or just fixing problems using his power as the CEO without much consideration for the effect it might have on others.
