* TheMentallyDisturbed: While she spent most of her life appearing as a perfectly normal NiceGirl before she snapped, her twitching and trembling when one student reminds her that she forgot her husband's birthday shows she was already pretty mentally unstable, but did her best to keep it under control. The only time he does something actively antagonistic is when he makes a thinly-veiled threat towards Blitzo, and that was only because Blitzo was bothering Verosika. * NothingPersonal: He holds no personal animosity towards any of the main cast, saying that Verosika's personal beefs and feuds don't concern him because he's not paid enough to care. Vortex also ends up going so far as to invite Loona to a party his girlfriend plans on throwing. * ForTheEvulz: Kills for payment, but he’s a PsychoForHire who loves to kill. That, and when he has to kill witnesses, he does it slowly with a SlasherSmile, for not other reason but for his own sadistic enjoyment.
* GoldTooth: His upper left canine fang is coated in solid gold, and it sticks out of his mouth very prominently in left-facing closed-mouth shots, adding to his already quite intimidating appearance.

* TheAce: He shows himself to be a capable athlete, musician, and ''especially'' assassin, and he's smart and charismatic to boot. He exploits this to an obnoxious degree just to spite Moxxie.
* AllThereInTheScript: In Striker's debut episode, he's introduced riding on a HellishHorse. While his horse isn't named in the actual episode, a member of the show's crew revealed in [[https://archive.is/A2G1X a tweet]] that the horse's name is Bombproof.
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: To Moxxie, which the latter lampshades after the Pain Games. Both are skilled combatants and proficient with firearms, but while Moxxie mainly uses guns to make up for a lack of physical muscle, Striker has both the firepower and the strength to back it up. Moxxie reassures himself that at least he's good at singing... Only for Striker to whip out a guitar and sing a song about how great he is and how much Moxxie sucks.
* AmbitionIsEvil: Striker isn't satisfied with just being a skilled imp, or even an assassin, his speech to Blitzo indicates he has aspirations for rising to the top of Hell's hierarchy.
* AnimalMotifs: Rattlesnakes, as shown by him making noises similar to rattling when he's about to go on the attack. He's also got two gold teeth that are slightly bigger than the rest of his teeth, and in the same position and shape as a snake's fangs.
* AxCrazy: Has a disturbed SlasherSmile while trying to [[spoiler:strangle Moxxie to death]].
* BadassBaritone: He speaks in a smooth, deep voice courtesy of Norman Reedus.
* BitchInSheepsClothing: Striker seems like a friendly fellow, if a little competitive. Then we learn that [[spoiler:he's a vicious hitman out to kill Stolas on Stella's dime]].
* BoomerangBigot: He makes a few comments that imply that he hates most imps despite being one himself, even giving Blitzo a speech with YouAreACreditToYourRace elements when trying to recruit him.
* TheBully: Goes out of his way to humiliate and upstage Moxxie every chance he can from the moment they meet, from goading him into trying to slay a giant hog for dinner so he could show Moxxie up after, to singing a TheHeroSucksSong after Mox got licked in the Pain Games.
* ChickMagnet: Maybe by virtue of doing very well in the Pain Games at the harvest festival or his suave character, voice and looks, Striker attracts imp women easily. This is only amplified when he whips out a guitar to sing for a crowd to celebrate his victory in the games.
* {{Cowboy}}: He's certainly got the look down. And his entry involves him riding a HellishHorse, followed by wrangling a wild beast and killing it.
* TheDragon: [[spoiler:To Stella. She's the one who hired him to kill Stolas, and he only failed thanks to interference from Blitzo and the rest of I.M.P. catching him in the act. However, he manages to get away, vowing to "get him next time" after a phone call with Stella.]]
* EatTheRich: He really doesn't like Hell's royalty. His WeCanRuleTogether speech to Blitzo in episode 5 indicates Striker's overall plan is to kill all of Hell's upper crust, including [[spoiler: his employer Stella]].
* EvenTheGuysWantHim: Several male imps are seen swooning during his song, not to mention Blitzo is practically salivating over him for a good portion of the episode.
* EvilCounterpart: Technically, Blitzo's evil too, but Striker definitely comes off as a worse version of him. Both are unusually tall imps who work as assassins, both demonstrate feats of great physical prowess, both are very good with guns, both are significantly more dangerous than they seem at first glance (abeit for different reasons), both pick on Moxxie, and both [[spoiler:work for Goetian royalty]]. Striker himself notes the similarities between them, and cites them as part of his WeCanRuleTogether pitch towards Blitzo.
* ExoticEyeDesigns: Unlike most imps, Striker has a circular pattern in his yellow eyes.
* FauxAffablyEvil: While he certainly knows how to turn on the charm, he's a deeply ruthless and even merciless individual willing to kill people he genuinely respects with only superficial regrets.
* {{Foil}}: To Blitzo. They're both imps looking to rise above the station their race is stuck in through becoming assassins, and they both enjoy mocking Moxxie and have a similar taste in weaponry, old-fashioned pistols (Blitzo's flintlock and Striker's revolver) and sniper rifles. But while Blitzo has a (more or less) positive relationship with the Goetia family and was born and raised in the city, Striker seems to have been raised in Wrath, and has an EatTheRich mentality. They also have opposing benefactors; Blitzo gets access to Stolas's grimoire and jobs from Stolas, while Striker seems to get his [[HolyHandGrenade blessed weapons]] and contracts from Stella, Stolas's wife.
* ForTheEvulz: Kills for payment, but he’s a PsychoForHire who loves to kill. That, and when he has to kill witnesses, he does it slowly with a SlasherSmile, for not other reason but for his own sadistic enjoyment.
* GoldTooth: His upper left canine fang is coated in solid gold, and it sticks out of his mouth very prominently in left-facing closed-mouth shots, adding to his already quite intimidating appearance.
* HateAtFirstSight: Seems to have it out for Moxxie and wastes no time antagonizing the poor imp from the word "go." Given his [[BoomerangBigot disdain for most other imps]] as weak and inferior and Moxxie being WeakButSkilled, it's likely he sees Moxxie as walking example of everything he hates about his own kind.
* HolyHandGrenade: He owns a blessing tipped sniper rifle capable of killing demon royalty. He also owns a similarly blessed pistol. [[spoiler:He loses the former to Moxxie while getting away]].
* {{Hypocrite}}: A twofer example. First, he has a deep-seated hatred towards imps and their lowly status in Hell's hierarchy despite being an imp himself. Second, he has a chip on his shoulder in regards to Hell's nobility [[spoiler:despite working for Stella, Stolas' wife]].
* JerkassToOne: He's pretty good at hiding his true nature around others but he's extremely petty and demeaning to Moxxie [[HateAtFirstSight right out of the gate]]. He even makes up a [[TheHeroSucksSong song about how much better he is than Moxxie]] with [[EvilIsPetty lyrics directly insulting him]].
* KnightOfCerebus: Once his true agenda comes to light, everything about Striker is played seriously in stark contrast to the show's comedic tone. He's also the first villain to end an episode while still in a position to continue their plan.
* KnowWhenToFoldEm: He was struggling enough fighting Blitzo and Moxxie at the same time; when Loona shows up, he decides to cut his losses and escape.
* LightIsNotGood: He has light skin and wears a white jacket, and he's a dangerous assassin.
* LightningBruiser: Strong and agile enough to fight two demon assassins at once and shrugs off multiple slash and stab wounds in the ''lower back'' from Millie that would have outright ''killed'' a normal imp like it was nothing.
* MaliciousMisnaming: Mockingly calls Blitzo by Stolas' pet name for him, "Blitzy", just before he jumps out the window and disappears out into the night. Unlike Verosika and Fizarolli's examples of this trope, which emphasize Blitzo's dissatisfaction with his past and attempts to distance himself from it, Striker's use emphasizes something Blitzo is dissatisfied with at his present point in life.
* MeaningfulName: His design evokes snakes (rattlesnakes, specifically) and he's called Striker.
* ObfuscatingStupidity: Striker refers to “free-lance” as free work when meeting Millie, but he almost immediately after proves knowledgeable in the field of business when complimenting Blitzo, since Striker knows that most imps doesn’t start their own companies. This is most likely to fit in at the ranch and not rouse any suspicion.
* PrehensileTail: The longest-tailed imp in the series as of his debut, and more than willing to use it in combat via choking out Moxxie and weilding a knife against Blitzo's back.
* PsychoForHire: Striker loves his job, especially when he gets to kill those weaker then himself.
* ReptilesAreAbhorrent: Not only does he evoke [[SnakesAreSinister rattlesnakes]], he also has a face similar to that of a lizard or a crocodile. He's also a deeply ruthless criminal.
* {{Sadist}}: He's shown to approach fighting with extreme gusto when his opponent is evenly matched with him, like Blitzo, but when they aren't, he positively ''revels'' in taking them down slowly.
* SlasherSmile: Striker sports a downright terrifying one when he twists Blitzo’s arm to point a gun at Moxxie during their fight, only narrowly missing him with the shot.
* TheSociopath: Moxxie calls the guy a psychopath and isn’t far off the mark. Striker is a sadistic, ManipulativeBastard who kills without remorse and only desire is to be paid.
* SpikesOfVillainy: The upper part of his tail has spikes resembling stegosaur plates along the top.
* StrongAndSkilled: In contrast to I.M.P, Striker is both strong enough to win the Harvest Festival, ''and'' skilled enough to repeatedly handle a 2-on-1 situation while coming out no worse for wear.
* VillainExitStageLeft: In contrast to almost every antagonist before him, Striker faces no comeuppance at the end of his introductory episode. While Striker does get the crap kicked out of him by I.M.P. and loses his gun, it's shown that he's more than capable of coming back to fight another day.
* VillainHasAPoint: While he was mostly saying it to convince Blitzo to switch sides, he's not wrong when he points out that Hell's royalty in general don't treat imps with much respect and that even Stolas tends to see Blitzo more like a plaything than a lover.
* WeCanRuleTogether: He tries to convince Blitzo to stand down by saying that Blitzo was meant for more than what he had. It appears to work at first, but Blitzo was just stalling for time until Moxxie lined up a shot.
* WorthyOpponent: He sees Blitzo as his equal after they prove about evenly matched in the competition, enough to offer to make him his partner in crime. Doesn't stop him from referring to him a "rodeo clown" while talking to Moxxie and Millie, though.
* WouldHitAGirl: Not that that means anything in Hell, but his willingness to kick a fan girl in the face while he's still pretending to be a decent guy, and his willingness to maim and kill Millie (the daughter of his employers) as well as Moxxie adds to TheReveal that he's a thoroughly ruthless criminal with no qualms about hurting ''anyone''.
* YouAreACreditToYourRace: He considers himself better than most imps because of his talents and aim to rise above them. He considers Blitzo this as well and tries to corral him into his fold, but it fails.
