An Omen opposed to Geist's plans for the world, and the first of their kind that the player meets.

* TheBusCameBack: Leaves the player's party after Chapter 2, since they only intended a temporary alliance anyway, but rejoins in Chapter 4 [[spoiler: after challenging the Traveler and their party to prove their resolve, to serve as their guide in Castle Lewis AKA the Castle Of Illusion.]] Thankfully, they're at their full strength at this point, which while not as strong as [[spoiler: when they're fought as a miniboss,]] it's enough to more or less keep up with the level grinding you've done by this point.

!Protagonists

[[folder:The Traveler]]
The PlayerCharacter of Harvestella.
----
* AllLovingHero: Treats the Omens, who are regarded by virtually everyone else in the world with suspicion at best, with as much kindness as everyone else.
* ChasteHero: They bond deeply with their party members, but never romance anyone, not even Aria.
* ChronicHeroSyndrome: The side quests they can accept in the game range from helping all sorts of people with all sorts of problems, big and small--whether adult, child, or Omen, they can spend the precious hours of their day helping just about anyone.
* FriendToAllChildren: Tends to get along extremely well with children. Possibly because they're rather child-like themselves; see below.
* HelloInsertNameHere: They're given the default name of Ein, but the player can name them whatever they choose within a ten CharacterLimit.
* HeroicMime: Other than dialogue options you pick, and voice grunts in combat, they never speak.
* ManChild: Quite a few of their possible dialogue choices slant in this direction, especially when interacting with actual children.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Aria]]
A girl who apparently crash-landed into the world of HARVESTELLA from another time. They begin to bond with the Traveler over their shared sense of being a fish-out-of-water (and the fact that they saved her when she got in over her head early on her own) becoming their roommate at Bird's Eye Brae.
----
* FishOutOfTemporalWater: Their situation when they and the Traveler first meet. Their clothes have a definite modern look to them, compared to the Traveler or natives.
[[/folder]]

!Other Party Members

!Omens
Mysterious beings, clad head-to-toe in dark armor, who live separate from the normal villagers and townsfolk of the game's world.

[[folder:General]]

* NotEvilJustMisunderstood: The Omens as a race are regarded by the populace with suspicion at best, and fear or outright hatred at worst. Several times, however, the Traveler discovers Omen who are acting suspiciously, but are only trying to help. There are exceptions, but most Omens in the game fall under this trope.
