* NamesTheSame: Shares his alias with a WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds OneShotCharacter from a 90s issue of Batman comics; the only similarities are physical deformity and SerialKiller status, but the Ogre from the comic was opposite to this character in both regards: he only killed members of a secret government organization who performed inhumane experiments on himself and others, creating his monstrous appearance through surgery rather than fixing deformities that were present by default, and said scientists were played up as [[AssholeVictim such horrible people]] that Batman ''let their killer walk away'' in the end. Despite the similar tropes being used in completely different ways as such, the comparisons were enough to make many assume that ''Gotham'''s Ogre was based on the comic character, while in reality their use of the same alias appears to be entirely coincidental.
