* TheCynic: Her defining characteristic. You will rarely find a single positive word in any of her lines. Given what she's been through, it's hard to blame her. Apparently she wasn't always like this, as commentary from the other characters indicated that she was "normal" the year before.
-->'''Olive:''' Trouble. This is my life.
* [[{{Delinquents}} Delinquent]]: She just doesn't care any more. She casually skips class and rarely pays attention in class.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: She's not really a jerk, but her aloofness and depressed "don't-care" attitude lead others to ostracize her and call her "creepshow". However, she's shown a surprising amount of empathy to others who are willing to spend time with her, even risking her life on several occasions for those she cares about.
* [[MommasBoy Momma's Girl]]: She associates with her mother far more than her father (who is never directly mentioned) and she blatantly narrates the fact at the end of the second issue.
-->'''Olive:''' After all, I am my mother's daughter.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: She normally has reddish eyes but they really become disturbing when she's surrounded with fire.
* TheWoobie: To put it bluntly, her life sucks. Her mom was confined to Arkham before being put on life support after part of the building collapsed, no one in her school understands her (leaving her feeling like an outcast), and she might very well be part of some sort of dark plot involving witchcraft. We don't even know what her dad is like but if her lines about not having anywhere else to go are taken seriously, he isn't very pleasant either.

She's also a rabid fangirl when it comes to anything paranormal or action related. Case in point, she falls in love with a ''grapple gun'', complete with a delusion of her caressing one in a bridal veil.

* GreviousHarmWithABody: Used Maps to kick her brother in the gut to incapacitate him (he was under some kind of mind control).
* NervesOfSteel: Comes with his assassin training and being Robin. Even hanging from a window ledge with only one hand free while another girl his age hangs from the other does little to his self-confidence and tactical mind.
