* {{Badass}}: He blocks a Kaioken empowered Kamehameha with no damage at all (compare to how in the original series where he ends up with a second-degree burn on his hand), beats up an enraged Gohan like a rag-doll with just his second form, holds his own against a Nail-fused Piccolo before deciding to get serious, effortlessly beats up a Zenkai enhanced Vegeta (who at this point is far stronger than even his Oozaru form from earth), demands '''''GOD''''' to strike him and ''came out unscathed'', tanks a massive Spirit Bomb from space with little to no damage (only having a chunk of his tail torn off), etc. Too bad VillainForgotToLEvelGrind kicked in and made him look like a joke by the Android Saga.

* PureIsNotGood: As in the original series, Vegeta was able to achieve the Super Saiyan form with different kind of pure heart. However, Vegeta claims his heart is "pure, unadulterated badass."

* BreakTheHaughty: Freeza makes him cry, "[[PreAsskickingOneLiner Like a little bitch]]," in episode 27

* BelligerentSexualTension: A HUGE case of this with Bulma, until they did the deed in Episode 34. Quickly made hilarious when Bulma (and the audience) discover that he has absolutely ''no idea'' what a condom is?!

* FatBastard: "I'm sure there ''was'' an advantage to building a fat robot, but for the life of me, I just don't see it."

** He also drops the CloudCuckooLander quirk, becoming more mission oriented
* NotSoHarmless: He gets his ass handed to him by Goku and appears beaten, but once he finishes processing "murder.exe", he suddenly becomes a lot more dangerous.

** TooDumbToLive: He actually kept letting Freeza go during their fight.

* RoboSpeak: Like everything else in the series, is taken UpToEleven

* EvilBrit: Even more so than Frieza, as 20 uses stereotypical slang.

* IfMyCalculationsAreCorrect: And generally they aren't. When someone is able to tell he and Gero are androids, rather than the loud whirring they make every time they move he figures they must be psychic.

* AdaptationalVillainy: In the original series, he was a NatureLover who showed concern for his pupils. In this, he's an absurdly powerful psychopath that enjoys inflicting misery onto others.

* BigBad: Of the Garlic Jr Saga. As his name suggests, he's the son of and the BigBad from the pre-TFS ''Dead Zone Abridged''.
