(Trevor)

Trevor is the second and nicer host! He cares about our participants or at least tries to give that impression. More sensitive and less sadistic but is that better or worse? Hmmm... You'll have to check it out for yourselves by watching Disventure Camp!

* AffablyEvil: Trevor is complicit in the criminal business he and Derek have created but his friendliness seems genuine. He's also considerably kinder than [[{{Sadist}} Derek]] and tries to keep him in line when he leans into being a cruel host. It's even suggested in ''All-Stars'' that [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone he feels guilty]] about [[spoiler:[[BadPeopleAbuseAnimals killing multiple animals]]]], unlike Derek who doesn't show any remorse for it. He also seems to find [[spoiler:Riya voting off Connor behind his back]] repulsive and seems to genuinely care for Derek.
* AmbiguouslyBi: Derek at least. While Trevor was [[WordOfGay confirmed]] to be bisexual during the Pride Month 2023 announcement of the show's creators, whether Derek is likewise bisexual or not is currently unknown, as the image that confirms the sexual orientations of most of the show's characters have Derek wear a flower necklace with the bisexual flag's colors, but his annoyed expression can give the impression that he merely wears it to support Trevor who enthusiastically holds a bisexual flag.
* BadPeopleAbuseAnimals: According to [[spoiler:Episode 11, they've been killing animals, which shows how evil they are (especially to [[AnimalLover Gabby]]) and it clearly isn't meant to be [[BlackComedyAnimalCruelty funny]]]].
* BewareTheSillyOnes: Despite Trevor's bubbly and silly personality, he's still participating in [[spoiler:the killing of animals around the camp.]]
* ButtMonkey: Trevor becomes this in ''All-Stars'', something that gets more noticeable starting on "Strike a Chord": he feels isolated since Derek and Kristal are spending more time together, he tries to sing a song only for Derek to interrupt him and call him a bad singer, and after [[spoiler:the Yellow Team causes the lights to catch fire and destroy the stage]] he's the one forced to clean the mess up alongside [[spoiler:the eliminated contestant]], with Derek rubbing it in his face when he tries to ask why he's the only one cleaning up. Later in "Ball Busters" he is the one tasked with testing that episode's challenge, and is the one that has to carry Riya's ball after she finds a free pass. Kristal even uses money from his paycheck in "Give Me Some Space!" to buy a ship for a challenge.
* CanonForeigner: They were not present in the original version of the first season, replacing Jared Johnson as the hosts of the remake.
* CaptivityHarmonica: While [[spoiler:in prison]], Trevor played a harmonica seemingly to pass time.
* CardCarryingVillain: In Episode 11, Derek (a {{Sadist}} who participates in a criminal business) happily suggests he views himself as a villain when stating he and Trevor "aren't complete monsters". It's also implied Trevor, despite being more AffablyEvil than Derek, views himself the same way since he smiles when Derek says this and doesn't try to protest.
* TheCorruptor: Derek is being setup as this for Kristal as of episode 5 of ''All-Stars'', trying to get her to return to her old sadistic ways after being disappointed in how Kristal has been softened thanks to Oliver's influence.
* DeadpanSnarker: Derek is prone to making really sarcastic comments about the challenges and contestants.
* DecompositeCharacter: They're essentially the original host, Jared, split in two, with Trevor taking over his [[AffablyEvil apparently friendly nature]], while Derek takes over his last name, criminal connections and malicious side of his personality.
* DemotedToExtra: [[spoiler:In universe as both of them are now interns instead of hosts by the time of All-Stars.]]
* DepravedBisexual: Both Trevor and ([[AmbiguouslyBi possibly]]) Derek [[spoiler:have been confirmed in anticipation of the season that much like Jared Johnson from the first season's original version, they are using the show for a criminal business, though how ruthless the enterprise actually is remains currently unknown.]]

* DoomedByCanon: They're indirectly mentioned in Season 2 as their unsavory behavior being the reason the show stopped airing for years before Kristal took up the host position, which means that whatever happens in Season 1, they're not sticking around past it. Making a few additions.

He also seems to find [[spoiler:Riya voting off Connor behind his back]] repulsive.

Added DiffLines:

* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: While he did [[spoiler:[[BadPeopleAbuseAnimals play a part in killing many animals]]]], Trevor genuinely cares for Derek. He also suggests in "Give Me Some Space!" that he enjoyed working with him in season one.

* OddlySmallOrganization: The number of people working as the staff never goes above the double digits in any of the seasons. The beta has whopping ''two'' staff members, the host and Jensen, which them becomes three with Derek and Trevor taking over for Jared in Season 1. Season 2 begins with Kristal, Marcus and Nina alone before Oliver joins them, bringing it up to four. All-Stars has the biggest staff crew so far, with Kristal, Oliver, Marcus, Nina, newcomer Emily, and a returning Trevor and Derek, but that's still only seven people in total.
