* CombatPragmatist: On top of being absolutely bats*** insane, like any Changling worth his salt he does not hesitate to use every trick up his sleeve and bend the rules to his favour in order to win.

* HundredPercentAdorationRating: He's the democratically-elected leader of Machina, and he was elected without even realizing it'd become a country. Technically he ''can'' be challenged, but few ever do, and he's won every time because the citizens of Machina adore him.

* WorldsSmartestMan: At the very least, he's ''one'' of them, being capable of outsmarting even Changeling Kings and building countless incredible inventions, up to and including a [[spoiler:sapient]] HumongousMecha. When Princess Patch founds the New Paragons, he's recruited as the team's genius, essentially making him the Fourth Age's equal of Silversmith.

** He all but practically dared the Progenitors and the two official Changeling Courts to go after him when they found out Machina's existence. They can't as Crazy Ant already set up a DeadManSwitch which would release extremely confidential information about Changelingkind to the rest of the world if they off him, forcing them to leave him and Machina alone.

The leader of Machina. A brilliant scientist and inventor, an eccentric but effective leader, and quite definitely and completely off his rocker. Nevertheless, the unholy mix of good character with mad genius is what made Machina so prosperous and successful today.

Crazy Ant, remembering where they are and who the local storm god is, acquired said power by [[SmiteMeOMightySmiter insulting the Hells out of]] [[{{Characters/CodexEquusDharmadeshvarPantheon}} Varsha of the Dharmadeshvar Pantheon]], [[BatmanGambit knowing]] the storm god cannot stand such blasphemy against him and would proceed to smite him on the spot with lightning - providing the energy needed to charge up Overmatriarch's machine and allow it to be used to save the day.

Crazy Ant himself even gave her the power and authority to "full right to snark any and all citizens of Machina including Crazy Ant".

* SuperIntelligence: Despite being only a Common Changeling, he's incredibly intelligent to the point of being one of the few beings Blackthorn has acknowledged the brilliance of. Given the Progenitors and the Royal Changelings are themselves some of the most intelligent beings on Equus, that is saying something. Queen Dazzleglow even states that Luminiferous predicts he has the great potential to become a [[SemiDivine Royal Changeling]] just like Thorax did before him, which might have ramifications for the Summer Court, especially Blackthorn's sons/Scions. Princess Patch chooses him to be Silversmith's counterpart in the New Paragons.
