* EarnYourHappyEnding: In "Chapter 21" Lilith agrees to releases his soul from hell allowing him to ascend to heaven.

* LockedOutOfTheLoop: He is one of the Greendale residents who has no idea of magic or demons - for example, he's still under the impression that Jesse had had a mental breakdown after a shift in the mines.

* YouShouldHaveDiedInstead: [[spoiler:When Tommy dies in the mine collapse he tells Harvey he wished it had been him instead.]]

* JerkWithAHeartOfJerk: He has absolutely no redeemable qualities except for perhaps his "love" for Tommy. Tommy even had to give up on his future just to protect Harvey from him. * DoesNotLikeMagic: After everything that happened with Tommy, Harvey is quickly coming to despise magic. Notably, he seems uncomfortable accepting magical pencils that never dull or run out of lead from Sabrina as a Christmas gift. And when she gives his alcoholic father magical eggnog that makes him never want to drink another drop of alcohol, though Harvey is grudgingly thankful, he asks her never to do anything like that again and returns the pencils.
