Although he doesn't directly appear in ''Monster Dash'', at least one port of ''[=AoZ=]'' implied that he was also the one behind the events of ''Monster Dash'', which would later be confirmed by ''Jetpack Joyride 2''. ''Jetpack Joyride Shorts'' revealed that he's a CEO of Legitimate Research, making him the antagonist of the original ''Jetpack Joyride'' as well, although he didn't make a proper appearance in it unil Brains Attack event in 2023.

* RightHandCat: He's the primary bad guy and, in the third episode of ''Jetpack Joyride Shorts'', he pets a cat that seems to be his pet.

* VileVillainSaccharineShow: Downplayed. While she is still a laughable and comical villain alongside other members of Really Bad Corp, her plans to steal all the Earth water make her the most dangerous villain even for Halfbrick Studios standards.

* HeroicComedicSociopath: His altitude, especially in ''Jetpack Joyride'', can be seen as extremely rebellious and unprovoked. However, given [[BlackAndGrayMorality the scientists' own alignment]] and his more heroic depiction in other games, it's clear that he's still a good guy of the story. His bio for ''Jetpack Joyride 2'' states that he will always save the day, but not without some collateral damage.

* GreenAndMean: Has a green facial hair and relatively short temper.

* TheNapoleon: In ''Jetpack Joyride Shorts'' at least, he appears to be shorter than Barry, but as malevolent as ever. He is also the shortest of the villains working for Really Bad Corp, a corporation that he took control over.

* NotSoAboveItAll: Part of his Legitimate Training has him use a jetpack in the same way Barry, Betty and Robo-Barry do. He admits finding it fun and becomes understanding as to why Barry loves using it, but wants nobody else to know about it.

* AwesomeAussie: An Australian man who single-handedly stopped the ZombieApocalypse, wearing no sleeves to emphasise his muscles, and a noticeable Australian accent.

* HeroicMime: In ''Jetpack Joyride'', where he's limited to a few grunts upon getting hit. Other games tend to subvert this by having a dialogue (and in case of ''Monster Dash'' since 2020, a speaking voice in the middle of gameplay).

* IconicItem: Machine Gun Jetpack, from ''Monster Dash'' onwards. In the games with multiple choices for jetpack, Machine Gun is always his default one, and he rarely appears without it.

* BigBad: While he only appears in-person in ''Age of Zombies'' and ''Jetpack Joyride 2'', he still fills the role of the main antagonist in the rest of the series. At least one port of ''[=AoZ=]'' revealed that he was also the one behind the events of ''Monster Dash'', which would later be backed up by ''Jetpack Joyride 2''. ''Jetpack Joyride Shorts'' revealed that he's a CEO of Legitimate Research, making him the antagonist of the original ''Jetpack Joyride'' as well.

An immortal member of the Royal Consult, whom Barry first meets in Ancient Egypt.

The only exception to this so far was a female scientist from ''Jetpack Joyride: From the Files of Barry Steakfries'' comic book, nicknamed "Lab Lady".
* FriendlyEnemy: Despite directly opposing him, many of the scientists get along with Barry really well. One mission requires "high-fiving" them in a friendly manner and Barry was seen helping them decorate their lab in Christmas trailer.

* HarmlessEnemy: The scientists never try to harm Barry themselves. They use zappers, lasers and rockets instead.

* SuddenlySpeaking: He usually only makes robotic barks, but in 2018 versions of ''Jetpack Joyride'', he was given a dialogue text teaching Barry how to play the game.

In ''Age of Zombies'', he also only ever refers to Barry as "Mr. Steakfries". Presumably for the same reasons, though he stopped doing so in his later appearances.

* CreepyCrossdresser: In the bonus Western chapter he [[DisguisedInDrag disguises himself as one of the Ruby's sisters]] held hostage by Mad Dog [=McDraw=]'s zombies. This is played for Squick, as Barry falls for it thinking he's Ruby and starts making advancements towards him, only to be visibly disgusted when actual Ruby appears.
