While he believes his procuring is more than enough to keep up with the four Boonboomgers, he realizes with the arrival of [=MadRex=] that they will quickly outgrow him even with their current setbacks, forcing him to finally joy the fray as Bun Orange.

Living in the latter's secret underground garage, they worked together to create the Boonboomgers' equipment. He is also able to grow giant-sized, serving as the main body of the Boonboomger Robo and is able to bring out his full power when the Boonboomgers pilot him from his cockpit.

Performing his roll call, Madrex expects to catch him on the course next time they meet and disappears in a smoke fog. He drops the act in Episode 9 and sets his mind on defeating Taiya once and for all.

Taiya keeps the truth about why the Boonboomgers were formed a secret from Mira and Jou, and when they learn that it's [[spoiler:to host a glorified racing tournament]], they call out Taiya for not caring about being a hero.

A freelance {{courier}} team of "professionals" dedicated to delivering all sorts of odds-and-ends, formed by Boondorio and Taiya in order to fulfil a certain "dream" of theirs. They also work as Earth's defenders, protecting the planet from the Hashirien when they eventually arrive.

* DarkIsNotEvil: In regards to Black and Orange's Boonboom Booster. It's got a darker color scheme of gold, black and purple (not so differently from ''[[Series/MashinSentaiKiramager Kiramager's]]'' Yodon Changer), resembles a grenade, and Boondorio's voice in the changer sounds gruffer compared to his voice in the core three's changers, but Bun Black and Bun Orange are obviously good guys.

The Insider[[note]]情報屋/''jouhou-ya''/"Information Professional"[[/note]]. Originally a freelance spy, he joined Taiya's team under unknown circumstances. Outwardly methodical and sarcastic, he works with Taiya as an informant under the notion of a "job assignment". His appearance of stoic professionalism is quickly revealed to be a front for his more impassioned personality, something he attempts to carefully maintain to varying results.

** Unlike Taiya or Boondorio, Ishiro doesn't immediately take to Mira as a teammate due to her inexperience, which is actually the driving point of #2. By the end of the episode however, he does seem to silently come around to her membership.

The Driver[[note]]運転屋/''unten-ya''/"Driving Professional"[[/note]]. A freeter who works multiple part-time jobs and is skilled at driving and maneuvering vehicles, moreso than Taiya and Ishiro. She is also the team's mood-maker as well as a frequent troublemaker who sticks her nose into other people's business. Inspired by Taiya's words of controlling her own fate, she decides to become a Boonboomger to break away from people making the decisions for her.

* LockedOutOfTheLoop: She, alongside Jou, were made unaware of the true nature of the Boonboomgers until Genba accidentally revealed Taiya and Boondorio's dream in #8. Understandably, she gets upset by this to the point where she [[WhatTheHellHero calls out Taiya at the end of the episode for pushing himself too far.]]

The Peacekeeper[[note]]警察屋/''keisatsu-ya''/"Police Professional"[[/note]]. A serious yet kindhearted rookie policeman who has a passion for justice, often finding himself on the tail end of weird situations thanks to the Hashirien. He eventually becomes a liaison between the I.S.A. and the Boonboomgers after Taiya convinces investigator Saibu that the team are capable of handling the Hashiriens, ascending to become one of them himself after his declaration to become the Boonboomgers' protector impressed Taiya.

* LockedOutOfTheLoop: He, alongside Mira, were made unaware of the true nature of the Boonboomgers until Genba accidentally revealed Taiya and Boondorio's dream in #8. Jou is understandably upset by this, but doesn't get outright angry at Taiya unlike Mira.

The Dealer[[note]]調達屋/''chōtatsu-ya''/"Procurement Professional"[[/note]]. A dependable man who can procure anything from anywhere. While he has a kind and soft-spoken demeanor, he is actually quite elusive and never shows his true feelings. Despite working with Taiya as his official procurer for some time now, he only officially joins the Boonboomgers after realizing that the team will quickly outgrow his current skillset.

* HiddenDepths: #7 shows him suddenly fawning over the tire mascot Belora alongside Boondorio.

** Boondorio's sun visor and his red helmet combine to form the shape of a baseball cap, with the red tire on his forehead front and center. This brings to mind Matsumoto's [[Anime/PokemonTheSeries most well-known]] [[Characters/PokemonTheSeriesAshKetchum anime role]].
* AffectionateNickname: He often gets called "Boonboom" by Taiya, "Boon-''chan''" by Mira, and "Boon-''san''" by Jou.
%%* ContrastingSequelMainCharacter: The Shugods were titanic beings unable to change their size or speak in human dialect, and rarely interacted with their human partners outside of combat. Boondorio is not only able to shrink and grow on his own, but in addition to speaking the same language as the team, he regularly rubs shoulders with them even outside of combat.
* LargeHam: The team can break out into their moments in the pork section, but Boondorio does it so regularly that he has NoIndoorVoice sometimes.

* PaperThinDisguise: Played with. He wears a sun visor when in human-size and takes it off when in giant robo mode. This isn't really much of a problem, however, as he only ever leaves the base for a mecha battle and hardly ever travels outside of it when human-sized. There's another key difference between Boondorio and the Boonboomger Robo; the latter has twin ramps that flow down the back like a set of coattails or a BadassCape, while Boondorio does not.
** Averted in #7, where his trip outside has him wearing CoolShades, a trenchcoat, and has his head wrapped in bandages. The piece de la resistance? A comically large (and familiar-looking) baseball cap. Heck, the only things that aren't covered are his hands and feet (though in the team's defense, Boondorio wouldn't really be able to wear ''any'' kind of shoe due to his ''colossal'' footprint).

* KibblesAndBits: Its main purpose as part of Boonboomger Robo is to just fill in his torso cavity for certain forms; in the original toyline it also acts as storage for Boondorio's regular face, which appears in-series as part of its combination sequence.

Giant [[CoolCar super cars]] built by Taiya and Boondorio. Housed within the courier service headquarters' garage, they are launched to assist and combine with Boonboomger Robo to fight against giant Kurumaju.

* PowerFist: It forms one alongside the original Boonboom Offroad, which Boondorio wields as Boonboomger Robo Puncher.

* BigEater: She manages to down ''4 large servings'' of Boondorio's curry stew.

* NotSoStoic: #4 quickly reveals that she has quite the dorky side underneath her stoic demeanor, as indicated when she starts to fiercely blush after Boondorio calls her "''onee-san''".

* ShipTease: There are hints that she has taken a shine to Boondorio, with her blushing after he calls her pretty, and #8 having her wanting to give him a Belora album in person.
* ThroughHisStomach: Boondorio gets her to open up after she's eaten four plates of his curry. In #5, when Boondorio decides to celebrate Jou being a Boonboomger with a curry party, she cheers.
