* MysteriousPast: All that's really known of Taiya in the beginning is that he came into a great amount of wealth as a younger man, met Boondorio along the way, and formed the Boonboomgers to pursue his yet-unrevealed dream.

* InconsistentSpelling: Officially, Mira's name is rendered in ''kanjī'' as 未来. However, possibly due to the rarity of her name, her name sometimes gets rendered in ''katakana'' as ミラ。

* LockedOutOfTheLoop: She, alongside Jou, were made unaware of the true nature of the Boonboomgers until Genba accidentally revealed Taiya and Boondorio's dream in #8. Understandably, she gets upset by this to the point where she [[WhatTheHellHero calls out Taiya multiple times throughout the episode.]]

* HotBlooded: Jou is incredibly passionate about protecting people, to the point where he veers into recklessness. This is implied to be the reason why Taiya doesn't let him become a Boonboomger at first in #5, only to change his mind when the former realizes that [[AnAesop just leaping into action unprepared does not make one a true "hero"]] while the latter sees that his passion allows him to be at his best.

* {{Expy}}: As the long-suffering direct superior of the Sanseaters who is constantly seen with his pet, he is effectively the [[Franchise/{{Pokemon}} Sakaki/Giovanni to their Team Rocket Trio.]]

* ThisIsADrill: Wields a staff with a drill attached to its tip, which he can also ride like a [[BaddassBiker Motorbike]]. He also has drills sticking out of each of his shoulders.

* {{Foreshadowing}}: The Boonboomgers' suits are the first in ''Sentai'' history that are modelled after a racecar driver's suit, while previous vehicle-based teams such as ''Go-onger'' has the racecar driver's suit be their civilian uniform instead. This ties in to the reveal in #8 that they are ''not'' meant to be combat suits, but actual racing suits designed for the [[TheBigRace Big Bang Grand Prix]] Taiya aims to organise.

* ImprovisedWeapon: Despite having Attack Modes, the Boonboom Cars' original purpose revealed in #8 is to simply be vehicles in the planned [[TheBigRace Big Bang Grand Prix]], which means that them being used as weapons for Boonboomger Robo was simply an improvised means of fighting the Kurumaju.

* TheGhost: He was name-dropped by [=MadRex=] in #8 but is never shown on-screen and little is known about him.

* SuperpoweredEvilSide: Raw Gyahsoline from a defeated Kurumaju automatically triggers them to perform a berserk-state MakeMyMonsterGrow process.

* ThisIsADrill: Wields a staff with a drill attached to its tip. He also has drills sticking out of each of his shoulders.

* DarkIsNotEvil: In regards to Black and Orange's Boonboom Booster. It's got a darker color scheme of gold, black and purple (not so differently from ''[[Series/MashinSentaiKiramager Kiramager's]]'' Yodon Changer), it resembles a grenade, and Boondorio's voice in this changer sounds gruffer compared to his voice in the core three's changers. But Bun Black and Bun Orange are obviously good guys.

* BadassInANiceSuit: He's a highly trained markman and informant who wears a sharp suit with a blue tie.

* AscendedFanboy: Jou becomes a fan of the Boonboomgers after a few encounters with them. Needless to say, he's overjoyed when he gets the opportunity to join them. He also admits in #5 that he's always idolized superheroes. However he comes to admit that becoming a hero just to be "cool" and actually being a hero to do the right thing are vastly different.

* GoroawaseNumber: Its license plate number is 1003, which can be read as "dress", as in wedding dress.

* WellTrainedButInexperienced: Episode 1 heavily implies it was their first outing on Earth. Despite Itarsha already knowing how to make Kurumaju, they fumbled a lot while also being previously unaware that Yalcar had a MakeMyMonsterGrow ability all along.

* StrongAndSkill: [=MadRex=] tends to prioritize power in his combat style, but he can and ''will'' use more sophisticated tactics when he needs to.

* LogicalWeakness: While it's able to suck up a lot of things, it's still a Kurumaju created from a vaccum cleaner. Ishiro takes advantage of this by tricking it into sucking up everything at a local junkyard and clogging up its vaccum, stopping it from sucking up anything else.
* NeatFreak: It is obsessed with cleaning up, so much so when it is brought to a junkyard it feels compelled to suck ''everything'' up. It even carries a feathery brush to either tickle its opponents with or to unleash brush-shaped [[EnergyBall energy blasts]].

* ShoutOut: His name is a reference to the ''Film/MadMax'' film franchise, with [[FreezeFrameBonus his three license plate numbers]] (1979, 1981 &1985) representing the release years of the first three films.

* CanineCompanion: For [=MadRex=], and it's so much of a compainion that it's ''attached to his leg''.
* TheChooserOfTheOne: Hashiri-Ken decides the object that [=MadRex=] would make the Kurumaju from.
* OneWordVocabulary: It can only say "''Pararirapararira''" (パラリラパラリラ)[[note]]The Japanese {{onomatopoeia}} for a biker gang honking their horns; [[{{Woolseyism}} Over-Time renders it as]] "Bwananana-nananana!"[[/note]].

* SatelliteCharacter: Not only it's [=MadRex=]'s pet, it's ''stitched to his leg'', so obviously Hashiri-Ken can't stand for it's own. They even share a voice actor.
* TheyHaveTheScent: As Hashiri-Ken is a dog, it's ability to find objects for [=MadRex=] to make Kurumaju from alludes to this.

* PrettyBoy: A subversion. Despite wanting to be an "ikemen" (translated as handsome guy in Japanese), at least by Sentai villain standards, he looks like a thug and is a villainous stooge.

* TheNudifier: Not literally, but the way the Kurumaju function means that this ''completely'' fits the bill in a demographically appropriate manner.

* InconsistentSpelling: While the official spelling is still yet to be confirmed, translations of his name ''Maddorekkusu'' have been split between "[=MadRex=]" and "[=MadWrecks=]".

* KibblesAndBits: Its main purpose as part of Boonboomger Robo is to just fill in his torso cavity for certain forms; in the original toyline it acts as storage for Boondorio's regular face, which appears in-series as part of its combination sequence.

Giant [[CoolCar super cars]] built by Taiya and Boondorio. Housed within the courier service headquarters' garage, they are launched to assist and combine with Boonboomger Robo to fight against giant Kurumaju.

* BadBoss: He is not beyond yelling at the Sanseaters or even physically attack them when they make him lose his patience.

It's implied his preferred form of "helping" had been to keep watch all of their battles from the side, [[BigDamnHeroes ready to save them]] by tossing in [[CrazyPrepared items he believes they would need already on-hand]]. #7 shows that this form of helping doesn't last however, as just when he was about to provide a trampoline for Bun Pink and Bun Black in a pinch, Bun Red and Bun Blue had already arrived to save them, rendering his intended assistance moot. This ends being being huge red flag of CantCatchUp for him which forces him to provide direct assistance by finally stepping into the fray himself.
