When she recognizes that the Rocket Prize Master is just a big gumball machine, she uses her newly gifted telekinesis to make sure the hatch that drops a Poké ball remains shut, thus having Team Rocket believe that the machine was broken and that they'd be forced to use Pelipper to fight back. Had they waited a little longer or went under the assumption that their precious Prize Master was broken, they would've had a better chance at succeeding.
* JerkassHasAPoint: Jessie is complaining that she didn't ''know'' Chloe was going to kick ass, but given that prior to their fight, Chloe has ''never'' met them at all and their first encounter had her fleeing from them during the Slateport Water Festival, it is a safe assumption to guess that Chloe doesn't know anything about fighting at all.

* UnderestimatingBadassery: Team Rocket assumed Chloe would be nothing but a pushover. Too bad they had no idea that Chloe had been training Yamper on the side and that she just completed her own adventures on a Data Train to give her more confidence to stand up for herself.

* CutenessProximity: He tries to deny it, but he can't help but melt at the face of Chloe's Skiddo.

* LethalChef: Implied to be one of these. When she suggests to cook for a Crafting Potluck, the rest of her group ''immediately chases after her to stop'', with Gunning even comparing her to [[Series/SamuraiSentaiShinkenger Mako]].

* TextileWorkIsFeminine: She's the cheery one of the twins and associates herself with all-natural dyes through leftovers like branches and onion peels.
