* AnachronismStew: In the original release, Chen has a Manchu-style [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queue_(hairstyle) queue]], with a clean-shaven front and long braid. This style of hair however did not become popular in China until the Manchu conquest of China in 1644, while Chen hails from the southern Chinese province of Fujian hundreds of years prior. The ''Definitive Edition'' gave him period-accurate hair.
