** One of the more widely received tracks in the game belongs to [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYG_Mo9_LFE Busan]]. An energetic and funky track that merges both the traditional wind and strings with modern beats, demonstrating how much of South Korea is so emblematic in pop culture and yet stays true to its roots.
** Among the more iconic new themes that have been composed for Overwatch 2 is [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JW8G6WM70Cc Midtown]]. Its theme being a soothing hip-hop inspired track that truly does not fail in representing the bustling and diverse streets of New York with its beats and piano instrumentation.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKSRO13rzCY Paraíso]] is an incredibly energetic track that combines the traditional percussion and guiro instrument of Brazil with synths that befit the lively favela of Lucio's hometown.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Ut3_SirrAw Circuit Royal]] is an incredibly triumphant-sounding techno-inspired track that wonderfully represents the sprawling but lavish city of Monte Carlo and its exhilarating car races, its more ''SpyFiction'' elements representing its casinos and the fact that this is the home base of the shifty business dealer Maximilien, a Talon executive.

* The heroic-sounding theme that plays during a Highlight/Play of the Game is suitably epic, despite only being about 10 or so seconds long. Thankfully, it's ''not'' a LongSongShortScene, as you get to hear it after ''every single match''.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3s-wQoYJ1I Overwatch 2's variant]] has a lot more of a sinister tone to it, as if to represent a desperate play made by one of the team members to turn a match around, but still keeping the epic scale of the original theme.

Featuring rapped verses from the perspectives of Winston, Widowmaker, [=McCree=], Reaper, Bastion, and Tracer, it's very well-thought out and hilarious for fans. Its chorus ("Overwatch is back in town" / "If you're not a hero don't stick around") is also quite motivational considering the plot of Overwatch's return against Talon. Special props goes to their guest, South African/Australian singer Andrea Storm Kaden, who provided the voices of Widowmaker and Tracer in surprisingly good accents, and managed to avert PissTakeRap despite not normally being a rapper.

* Lúcio's tracks, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PEuCcywh12Q "Rejuvenescência"]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnJs_V4j1hs "We Move Together As One"]] are sweet progressive house tracks. They also got [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sk0Yj2JxKdk semi-orchestral remixes for]] [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juwHwhrT4jw his release in]] ''VideoGame/HeroesOfTheStorm.''
* The songs associated with each map are all amazing, but players still have their favorites:
** While it didn't make it into the game itself, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3xFKckFCGM the trailer music for the Eichenwalde map]] is just plain ''gorgeous,'' slowly building up from a [[LonelyPianoPiece gentle piano piece]] before exploding into grandiose orchestra, perfectly benefiting the map's epic yet melancholy atmosphere.
***[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eEqWVN7JJ4 SharaX took this theme and turned it into an epic remix]] worthy of becoming Reinhardt's themesong, but she throws in a little ''VideoGame/UnderTale'' to pad it out as well.
** Special mention goes to [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nm6VFEo5wLY King's Row,]] which has two themes like most other maps, but both of them actually seem to represent the context of the map[[note]]The attacking team is delivering a bomb designed to kill the Omnic refugees in the area[[/note]], [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ovKZUpbydNo with the attacking theme being dark and foreboding,]] and the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bvbaQ_J8q90 defending theme being uplifting and heroic, but suspenseful.]] Whichever one you get, both of them are epic orchestral/DrumAndBass fusions with [[ForDoomTheBellTolls ominous church bells]] to set the mood of the map.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhVZ-QIu4jk The full trailer theme for the Oasis map]] and its abridged [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHPr8Qu86wc loading screen version]] are brilliantly cinematic and booming, sounding like something straight out of ''Film/JamesBond.''
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vb7-dBOnqrk for Horizon Lunar Colony]] is truly awe-inspiring. The whole song embodies humanity's immense potential for innovation and discovery in the ''Overwatch'' universe.
* ''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H0UE_xiMv68 Overtime 3]]'', despite its NonindicativeName (said music only plays before a round starts), really helps set the mood for an imminent battle of epic proportions.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DoXyjNQGF3o The music that plays during the loading screen in competitive]] is extremely cool and does a great job at telling you that shit's about to get real.
* The heroic-sounding theme that plays during a Highlight/Play of the Game is suitably epic, despite only being about 10 or so seconds long. Thankfully, it's ''not'' a LongSongShortScene, as you get to hear it after ''every single match''.
** From the Uprising event, we have the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSMBL2sndLU main menu]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RewOiW-EYRk final battle]] themes, both invoking a sense of (strangely epic) dread for the Null Sector-torn King's Row. The latter can become very pumping during it's segment when eliminating the OR-14 units, effectively the final boss of the mission.
** The Anniversary event's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vomdkt9c3ak main menu theme]]. The first few seconds sound heroic and very uplifting, while the rest of the theme has a strong "we've come a long way" feel to it, evoking a sense of nostalgia for long-time players.
* A meta example: "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unXsheHLPao A Hero Never Dies]]", made by JT Machinima.
