* Ro Laren has been butting heads with Admiral Akaar since he arrived - apparently, he was NOT a fan of hers back in her Starfleet days, an attitude only amplified when she joined the Maquis. After the assassination of First Minister Shakaar by Hizaki Gard, while the indications are that he's fleeing back home to Trill, she has a gut instinct that Gard is still on the station. How she handles this is to effectively take over Ops, and reveal that not only is Gard still on the station, but in Ops - and, particularly concerning to the Starfleet admiral, using a piece of Starfleet technology to remain hidden.
