* Sebastian may be human in this story, but he's still one hell of butler, possessing a Stand that slows down his perception of time while increasing his reflexes, allowing him to catch a bullet fired by Reinfelt. Jotaro would be impressed.

* While Filia struggles against Ablus for a bit, she quickly gains her HeroicSecondWind when she discovers a pair of swords (shaped like hairpins) that belonged to Delilah, a former host of Samson. Surprisingly they seem to suit Filia, and she uses them to easily beat down Albus.

* Hajime and his Dragonforce make a good first impression, easily downing both Nekomaru and Akane, the two strongest members of the class. He even then proceeds to point out how the Ultimates of the class aren't really living up to the hype. This goes a long way towards improving everyone's attitudes.

* Beowulf in general is far stronger than even peak human strength, and without superpowers to boot. He shows himself capable of beating a Stand user as potent as Chiaki, who has the benefit of several centuries of fighting experience due to her Stand and the multiple video games she's played.

* You'd think Joseph lacking the restrictive mask from canon would make his fight against Esidisi harder, but nope. He's improved so much that he's able to quickly block the Pillar Man's Erratic Blaze King with quick reflexes and his wool cap.

* Rarity also has a habit of berating certain characters for their actions, such as Abbacchio's cynicism, Mista's paranoia, and Trish's spoiled nature.

* When Beowulf leans that his last fight with Grendel, which ended in the latter's death, was rigged in his favor, he admits it to the entire crowd with the intent of starting over. Definitely shows that Beowulf is man enough to admit his faults.

* Credit where it's due to Dio, though, as despite his plans being repeatedly shot down, he doesn't immediately start freaking out and maintains his calm demeanor, if no other reason than [[PragmaticVillainy because one slip-up, no matter how small, could prove to be his downfall]].

* Despite Mahiru being friends with Honami, she sticks with what's right and turns over the evidence she found to the authorities, allowing them to arrest Honami with murder.
* The Oingo Boingo brothers make a return, now working with the heroes, and show how effective their Stands really are by using it to save Nagito from needing to be suspended while simultaneously halting the Steering Committee's efforts to retake the school.

* Of all characters, one never would have expected it to be a much younger Jolyne Kujo who takes on Oyanagi. And curb-stomps in Janken, even after he understands the concept of Stands.

* Kosaku is able to pin Yoshihiro's polaroid body in place using Under Pressure, showing just how potent the Stand really is. Even Yoshihiro is shocked that it worked, and Kosuke admitted he was only trying it as an experiment.

* During their school boxing match, Jonathan shows that Twilight was doing more than teach him proper manners. He uses a different strategy against Dio instead of going for the head, instead going for a VictoryByEndurance and wearing down Dio with body blows. The best part is that Dio was expecting Jonathan to just go for the head and blocked the first attack, only to get blindsided by the follow-up. He's finally beaten when Jonathan nails his solar plexus, stunning Dio long enough for the ten count.

* Twilight also proves to be an exceptional spanner in Dio's schemes. All those years he spent preparing for high society and breaking down Jonathan get wrecked by just a few days of Twilight patiently explaining where Jonathan's faults lie, allowing him to stay equal to Dio in George's eyes.
* Though credit to Dio, he doesn't immediately break down the moment he sees his plans going belly-up. He maintains an air of dignity expected of a noble house, [[PragmaticVillainy if only because he knows outright throwing a tantrum at Twilight's actions would only see him lose outright]].

* As soon as Twilight lays eyes on Dio, she can immediately tell this guy is bad news. She wastes no time making secret use of her Stand, Love is in Bloom, to turn Dio's own brutish beatings against him and it is cathartic to anyone who's read the first few chapters of the manga or watched the first episode of the anime.

* Eliza has apparently faced against many heroes over her lifetime (which is measured in centuries) and suffered many cliched StockPhrases. Which makes Hajime all the more badass when he proves to be a NoNonsenseNemesis, only making a quip about how Eliza is now forced into the opening before simply getting right to the ass-kicking.

* In the first two chapters alone, Twilight shows that she is not going to let Dio have his way, starting with using her Stand to prevent him from hurting Danny. Later, she does the same thing again, this time to protect Jonathan.
** Even outside of these moments, Twilight's presence alone is enough to completely derail Dio's plans and bruise his pride. Some examples of this include her helping Jonathan with his studies, as well as preventing Dio from stealing Erina's first kiss.
