* Withstanding a strong thunderstorm [[DiablousExMachina from nowhere]] just to get his buddies to the Candy Store in "Don't Rain on My Ed". He actually came ''very'' close to doing so before another DiablousExMachina (a chicken drive headed by Rolf) distracted him at a crucial moment, though he still gets points for rescuing Edd from the chicken stampede when Eddy refused to do so.

* While he's usually TheLoad or TheMillstone, he has his heroic moments, like saving Double D ''twice'' in "Don't Rain on My Ed" or saving Kevin from the Kankers in "Dawn Of The Eds". And in "Momma's Little Ed" he's able to hold the Kankers off by trapping their heads in a measuring cup: this is one of the few times the Kankers get some comeuppance.

* In "Mama's Little Ed," after Eddy uses a sticky note to convince Double D to ask the Kankers for some sugar, he and Eddy watch from a distance as things go about as well as one might expect. When they're through with Double D, who's been shoved into his hat and is crawling away, the two are found by them. As Eddy makes a break for it, Ed picks up the discarded measuring cup.

'''Ed:''' (''shoves the cup over all three of the Kankers' heads'') Wait for me, Eddy!

* In "Little Ed Blue", Double D and Eddy use a puppet show to with a couple of Ed's toys to make Ed happy. Eddy gives up immediately and Double D tries to tell him off about it. Ed pulls the string on the back of his monster toy while Double D isn't looking. Cue the toy '''''SHOOTING A FIFTY FOOT FLAME AT EDDY AND DOUBLE D'''''. Eddy's reaction sums it right up.

* In "Key To My Ed", [[{{MotorMouth}} Double D]] goes on an annoyingly tedious rant about morality and the goodwill Eddy will do if he "returns the key to its rightful owner", so Eddy gives him an immensely satisfying {{BigShutUp}}. The ''real'' moment of awesome comes when Edd tells Eddy that there's no reason to raise his voice, so Eddy gives him a fake apology and, just when Edd turns around, ''literally kicks him square across the entire freaking cul-de-sac!'' One of many moments that proves that Eddy is ''way'' stronger than he looks.

* Eddy ''giving Kevin a wedgie'' in "Pop Goes the Ed" when the JerkJock erases his [[{{ItMakesSenseInContext}} pencilled chest hairs.]]

* Although he never catches on that Eddy forged the sticky notes from his parents as part of a prank in "Momma's Little Ed", Edd practically punishes Eddy by vacuuming up his "frisky" magazines and allowing his phonograph to be destroyed to make room for his ant farm. At the very end, he makes the little practical joker massage his feet.

* While Edd is usually in the right whenever he calls out Eddy for his actions, in the episode "Who's Minding the Ed" is anything but that. [[HumiliationConga Throughout the episode Eddy is forced to deal with Ed's animals constantly hurting him in several ways while Edd outwardly shows no sympathy towards him]]. By the end where all of the animals leave, [[NotSoAboveItAll Edd]], of all people, tries to call out Eddy for being apathetic towards Ed's depression. Eddy is justifiably angry over Edd's preachy behavior, so he decides to knock him down a peg by stuffing [[{{LaserGuidedKarma Edd into a bunny suit and leaving him to be hugged to death by Ed,}}]] both as a way of making Ed feel better and getting back at Edd for still trying to act like Eddy is always in the wrong.

* Whenever Eddy does something that completely merits whatever fate and/or beating he's handed, it's immensely satisfying to see him suffer for being such a huge jerk. One example in particular comes from "Cry Ed": after spending the afternoon trying to steal attention from an injury-prone Jimmy, as well as counter Sarah's attempts to make sure Jimmy gets the attention he deserves, and Edd's attempt to stop Eddy's game by turning a rubber glove into a bubble suit (which he quickly deems a change in the rules), Eddy winds up trapped in a hole with Kevin and Rolf, who are very unhappy with him landing on them while wearing a stove (ItsALongStory). Kevin's ready to pound, but Eddy claims that with his armor, he's invincible. Rolf immediately claims that he can see shoddy spot-welding from a distance of twenty goats. Rolf then lays his tongue on the stove, finds a weak spot, and splits the stove open with a single punch, leaving Eddy defenseless to his ensuing pounding.

** Even ''better'' is that he [[{{MomentOfAwesome}} sets up a scam for it]], which [[{{ThrowTheDogABone}} presumably was actually ''successful'', making his revenge all the sweeter.

* Rolf, of all people, saved the day in Hanky Panky Hullabaloo and defeated the Cherubs.

* It may have been profoundly stupid, but it said something about how damn ''durable'' Eddy is when he won't back down in competing with Rolf for the Hairy Chest of Resilience Badge in "The Good, the Bad, the Ed." He took a RIDICULOUS amount of damage in that episode and still wouldn't quit. {{Determinator}}, indeed.

However it's still Ed, the individual who lifts houses like it's nothing. So, whether or not he's really a giant monster, Ed is in that mindset, so for all intents and purposes, he is genuinely threatening in that he's sticking people to walls, planning to do god knows what to them.

* In "Pain in the Ed", Eddy wants to smash Ed's violin because Ed's a DreadfulMusician, but Jimmy is watching with specific instructions to tell Sarah if it happens. Edd suggests [[MakeItLookLikeAnAccident Making It Look Like An Accident]], so he set up an extremely elaborate RubeGoldbergDevice that included [[BatmanGambit the precise reactions of the kids of the cul-de-sac themselves as elements of it]]...and it worked '''perfectly''', including the last little bit he added to save the violin.
