Cesaro then swings Kofi rapidly and releases him, RIGHT at the exact moment Tyson does a DOUBLE FOOT STOMP on Kofi who still a couple inches off the ground. Please note this was just the PRE-SHOW. And when the match ends, Cesaro ''instantly wakes up'' as if being choked was him falling asleep.
* Showing up in Wrestling/AllEliteWrestling in 2022 at the '''''Forbidden Door''''' PPV, hand-picked by Wrestling/BryanDanielson as his replacement in his hotly-anticipated match against fellow master technician Wrestling/ZackSabreJr, and now the latest member of the Blackpool Combat Club. Danielson had promised the fans that, even if they weren't going to get the long-awaited dream match between himself and ZSJ just yet, his replacement would absolutely not disappoint, and disappoint Claudio Castagnoli certainly did not!
* It was only his second match in AEW and Claudio was already involved in a ''Blood and Guts'' match. Starting as the first entry for his team, Claudio went through 45 minutes of sheer brutality, including going toe-to-toe with his former Real American teammate Jack Hager. As the fight shifted to the top of the cage, Claudio managed to save Eddie Kingston from tapping out to the Walls of Jericho before putting the Wizard on his trademark swing at nearly twenty feet high. At the end, both Castagnoli and Kingston put Matt Menard and Jericho into a Sharpshooter and Stretch Plum respectively but it was Menard who tapped out first, giving the Blackpool Combat Club the victory.

* Having learned from some of the flaws of the first ''Blood and Guts'', this year's titular match between The Jericho Appreciation Society and The Blackpool Combat Club (with Eddie Kingston and Proud and Powerful) was far more enticing (thanks to an arena filled with a Detroit audience), [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yhVA_6mKOtE but no less brutal than before]]. With multiple weapons ranging from steel chairs to a barbed-wire baseball bat to broken glass to thumbtacks and wooden skewers, the two 6-man teams in the dual-ring sized steel cage destroy one another, cutting each other up quickly. As Chris scales the cage, Eddie pulls his SlasherSmile, knowing how stupid The Influencer is for trying to escape to the top of the structure. Although Sammy Guevara comes to help Jericho, Eddie deals a low-blow to The Spanish God and sends him flying down crashing into the timekeeper's table. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzlVsFLSXIE While Claudio Castagnoli comes to help Eddie]] by pushing Jericho away from locking in The Walls of Jericho onto Kingston, giving Jericho his giant swing maneuver, Matt Menard wasn't far behind and tries dealing a piledriver onto Claudio, but he reverses it into a Sharpshooter on Menard as The Mad King uses the "Stretch Plum" on Jericho, the same submission technique he had Chris tap out in their ''AEW Revolution 2022'' match. However, it's Menard who taps out first, giving The Blackpool Combat Club and their allies the win. Post-match, Eddie is visibly frustrated and upset that Claudio robbed him of the victory as the commentators note that Kingston wanted Jericho to tap out in order to humiliate him.
