Shaw Communications is a Canadian cable company. In 2012 they introduced a campaign where anthropomorphized robots carry packets of data through their fibre optic network at light speed. The ads focus on Bit and Bud, a StudentAndMasterTeam, who are among the many delivery bots who serve Shaw's customers.

Bit is the young, intrepid bot, while Bot is the larger, more experienced bot. Bot generally works to guide Bit, who usually engages in various antics.

!!Shaw's commercials provide examples of:
* CableSatelliteMudslinging: Perhaps the only cable company to avert this. Shaw provides ''both'' cable and satellite television service (with satellite service delivered through a subsidiary called Shaw Direct), rendering mudslinging unnecessary.
* CanadaEh: One radio ad has the bots talking about Canadian stereotypes, ending with them thanking the listener for listening to their commercial.
* CoverInnocentEyesAndEars: One of the older bots is upgraded as part of Shaw's digital network upgrade. Bud covers Bit's eyes with his clipboard to prevent him from seeing the supposedly unpleasant upgrade process (which includes lots of mechanical whirring noises) and Bit moves up and down to peek around Bud's clipboard.
* DidntThinkThisThrough: In one ad Bit suggests they create a commercial that's as fast as Shaw's internet. It turns out Shaw's internet service is so fast, no time is left for the bots to address the viewer, leaving Bit to say such a fast commercial may not be such a good idea after all.
* FakeOutFadeOut: In one ad Bit suggests they [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9L0Ab-ZH9nI/ make a commercial that's as fast as Shaw's internet]], which as you might expect is so fast that they are left with no time to address the viewer, requiring them to return after the Shaw logo fades in.
* HeadsOrTails: Bit [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3inpAEAgug/ flips a coin in outer space]], which doesn't land due to the lack of gravity.
* HomemadeSweaterFromHell: Seen in a [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3JjG-z3q60/ Christmas commercial]].
* InsubstantialIngredients: When Bit and Bud play a game of I Spy, Bit spots something that's invisible, all around, and comes with every Shaw high-speed internet package. Bud guesses it's Shaw Go wifi, but the answer turns out to be love.
* IrisOut: The ) in the Shaw logo is often used for this.
* IWasBornReady: This is [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_uR0F94Vts#t=8s Bud's answer]] when the Shaw tech asks him and Bit if he's ready for work.
* TheLastOfTheseIsNotLikeTheOthers: Bit and Bud [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3JjG-z3q60/ give a presentation about ideal Christmas gifts]] such as a smartphone and tablet, TV, laptop, and finally an [[HomemadeSweaterFromHell ugly Christmas sweater]].
* RoadTripAcrossTheStreet: A Shaw tech is stationed in each neighborhood, so that they are immediately available if a customer requires assistance. One such tech's morning commute involves merely getting in his truck and backing it up across the street, directly into the driveway of a customer.
* ShadowDiscretionShot: When an elderly delivery bot is upgraded as part of Shaw's digital network upgrade, the shot shows the shadow of the transformation process cast upon Bit and Bud's reactions.
