Ninjacrat: Master Hand, there are thousands of examples on the wiki that begin with 'actually' or 'to be fair', ramble about something that happened to the poster and his friends once, insult the writer of the previous example or are simply incoherent. I suggest you pursue a vendetta against them, ranther than deleting the explanaion of why Izchak's Wrath got its name again.

Master Hand: Do you learn, Ninjacrat? Do you learn? Did you even read what I said on the discussion for Izchak's Wrath? Did you? The explanation of why it got its name is because there is a shopkeeper in Nethack named Izchak. Izchak's Wrath is a trope about shopkeepers who try to kill you. It is not a trope about characters named after dead developers. If you wish to mention that, you may. But please put it where it makes sense, such as Shout-Out, not where it has little to no relevance.

Ninjacrat: The reason it's called 'Izchak's Wrath' rather than 'Asidonhopo's Wrath' or 'Manlobbi's Wrath' any other name is because of Izchak's sentimental significance to Nethack culture. It's certainly worth mentioning. Now, if you figure it would fit better under another heading then you should absolutely feel free to move it to that heading. Rather than tracking it across the wiki and deleting it again and again.

You know, when I moved it to the nethack page, I thought: 'Gee, Master Hand is going to be grateful that I had a change of heart and moved it to a page where it's arguably better suited.' I was expecting less... burning rage.

Master Hand: Okay, since you're apparently too lazy to move it yourself, I've done it. Izchak Miller is now mentioned at Shout Out Video Games. Please leave this reference be. It is now where it belongs, and has been abridged, as I found yours too long-winded.

As for its name, it's actually called 'Izchak's Wrath' rather than 'Asidonhopo's Wrath' or 'Manlobbi's Wrath' is because of the fact that Izchak is not randomly generated, and thus famous. Why do I know this? If you look at the YKTTW for the trope, you'll notice that I named it, and I had that in mind. 'Izchak's Wrath' makes Nethack players know "Hey, this is a trope that got its name from Nethack." Only source divers would know who Asidonhopo or Manlobbi are.

Peteman: Would Izchak be a kind of Dead Guy Junior?

Master Hand: It's fine where it is already.

Ninjacrat: Master Hand, you might me confused. I'm not the guy who wrote that paragraph. I'm the guy who rescued to this page after you had already deleted it two or three times from Izchak's Wrath.

Also? Calm the fuck down. Because christ.

Master Hand: I'm not saying you are, just leave it where it belongs.

Kinitawowi: Why the story at the top? It never appears in the game...

I think Goddammed bats should be slimmed down. The big bosses of the game shouldn't qualify as goddamned bats, nor should cockatrices or green slimes, which can mostly be avoided with typical armor (the sort of things you pick up in the first few levels).
