Gloating Swine: All very nice history, but, err why? This all seems a bit detailed for a Useful Notes On entry.

  • The House Of Tudor one is quite long. Still, the point is taken. I tried including just the basic facts in a vaguely informal and hopefully entertaining way and overstepped the mark. Much better this way(to begin it mostly anew).

Fast Eddie: Vandalised? As it stands now it is completely useless.

Gloating Swine: What's really needed is a short piece of real history about the personalities and major events, and then some links to particular portrayals or tropes that are associated with them (like with the other Public Domain Character entries). If they haven't been paid much attention by the kind of media TV Tropes deals with, then we don't need to explain them, leave that to the Other Wiki.

Silent Hunter: There's plenty of media in this time period, mostly on the English Civil War. I like the entry as is and it's supposed to be informative too.

Chandagnac: I added some stuff... and then put most of what I'd written on a new page marked Restoration Comedy. The reign of Charles II was quite productive when it came to drama and poetry. Not sure about the format, though. Maybe it would be better as a list when there are a few more examples.

Silent Hunter: Nice addition. Pepys ought to be mentioned somewhere.
