Don Quigleone: What's with the emphasis on britain here? Maybe those parts should be moved to a trope like British Isolationism or something?

Silent Hunter: It was originally part of the Britain character. Those bits can be moved to With Europe But Not Of It.

Wascally Wabbit: Nothing to do with the Huns? Didn't Attila have his court on the Great Hungarian Plain?

  • The Hungarians themselves weren't there at the time.
  • Hungarians as a people descending from the Huns has no more basis than the same claim about any present Central-European nation doing so. Hungarian tribes mostly arrived to the Carpathian basin around 900, but there are some theories that there may have been contact between the Huns and Hungarians before. However there are no solid sources in this regard, only some old legends.
