Dark Sasami: For the sake of accuracy, I would like to swap titles between this and The Speechless, since a character that can't talk often has a voice, but a character who doesn't talk is usually completely silent. Any objections?

Gus: I see the complaint. There are so many other ways to put the notion across, though ... "taciturn, laconic, mute", etc.. Clarify away, I'm sayin', but nobody is married to the existing titles of either, methinks.

Devil's Advocate: Seems to me that these are usually (always?) animals, so the fact that they don't speak isn't that unusual (except inasmuch as they may inhabit a universe which at the same time has animals that do talk)--it's their understanding of the situation that's unusual, so maybe the name should somehow focus on that. The He Who Must Not Be Heard entry indicates that the category does not include those who are incapable of speaking, which would seem to me to include animals.

Bluetooth The Pirate: Y'know, we could always just call this entry The Silent Bob, and it would almost completely disambiguate it. Or maybe the voluntary mute, or the Vow Of Silence? I don't think we need to slavishly stick to the naming convention of "The + single word".

Elihu: I second The Silent Bob.
