KJMackley: I heard it used frequently on Burn Notice and I assumed it was a Real Life term, but I haven't heard it used anywhere else to describe the character type.
Leigh Sabio: I can only imagine tropers' surprised delight when they attempt to Pot Hole to the trope meaning "a logical character used as a foil for an emotional character" and end up here instead. Rename this page?
