Gattsuru : Wasn't this explained in-game? The Mad God wasn't originally inherently tied to the Daedra of Order; that was a curse by the other daedric princes. The entire point of said curse was to make sure he'd face something capable of keeping him from getting too much power, not to force anyone else to be overrun from the throne.
Removed a bunch of factually inaccurate stuff from the DBZ entry: the Gods could *not* simply revive people at will. Only the Elder Kaio-shin did this (to Goku), and he had to sacrifice his own life to do it. Vegeta was brought back by Uranai Baba (who can only bring somebody back for one day, then never again) before being resurrected by the dragon balls.
