Hans Gruber is not a terrorist and outright says so when the corporate exec asked why he was just interested in money.

Jordan: I also think that the League of Shadows in Batman Begins might be an example of terrorists sort of for the sake of terror, especially because Ra's al Ghul is no longer of Arab appearance.

Noaqiyeum: Mmmm, nope. Ra'as specifically says what their mission is - that Gotham justly deserves destruction, and they intend to bring the city to justice, one way or another.

Kizor: The axe-clanking comment forces me to paraphrase Monty Python's Flying Circus.

Gumby: BASICALLY... i believe... in peace. And bashing two... BRICKS together! Ar! Ugh! Rag! Uh!

Caswin: Looking at the Iron Man entry on the Ten Rings, I was wondering, is an agenda beyond "grab power" really necessary to have a "cause"? Fanatical undercurrents aside, I think this is the big motivation behind most real-life terrorist organizations.

Ununnilium: Does "just wants to conquer the world" count as this?

Eric DVH: No, I don't think so. The closest thing I can recall would probably be filibustering, in which a private party takes over a sovereign nation by force for use as their own private fiefdom (think of the conquest of Hawaii for instance.) I can't think of any actual incidents of this happening for a very long time.

Sky Blue: Voldemort doesn't give a damn about race? Really? That's news to me, considering that he changed his name just because it belonged to his Mudblood father. Should that entry perhaps be updated or deleted?
Inkblot: I lol'd at the fact that both spellings of "organisation" are in this article.
Conrad Gray: I move that this article be retitled "Some Men Just Want to Watch the World Burn".
  • No, seriously, how do I go about changing the title name?
