The Kakapo: Recent. Early February. The trope is as old as blaxploitation. Wanted to say I think the extra blurb about the history of black folks in modern coolness-culture comes off as tangental.
SAMAS: It would have been longer, except that it did go off on a tangent, so I cut it back to the one paragraph. But trope articles, whenever possible should have the reasons/history behind them whenever possible. That Other Wiki we may be not, but this place serves to inform as much as it does to entertain.
