Anonymous Mc Cartneyfan: about that Phil Ochs quote: Mississippi did try to find another country to belong to. The result was the Civil War - it got dragged back into this one. Or did you think those Confederate flags were just window-dressing?

Man Without A Body: I'm putting back the picture and the Phil Ochs quote, because they do both illustrate the quote. Edward (the guy in the picture) is very obviously an example at first sight, and the song is about this trope. Though it might work just as well for Deep South.
