Marionette: re Godzilla. Since Minya first appeared in Kaijûtô no kessen: Gojira no musuko AKA Son of Godzilla in 1967 I'm pretty sure it predates the introduction of Godzooky.

BT Isaac: First off, How did Momo from Samurai Champloo end up here. Second, why is the trope nicknamed after him. He's an ordinary flying squirrel that happens to be Fuu's pet. Never gets any major screentime, and overall, doesn't fit the trope's description. I'd remove it but I can't really do anything about an alternative title without everyone's consent.
