From YKTTW Working Title: ( Burned ) Out Of The Picture
Nate The Great: I dispute the example from The Parent Trap. This trope is removing the people who are gone from your life. The girls had the half of the parent that they didn't have. Don't ask me why the parents tore a picture of themselves in half like that; maybe Chessey did it. I'm for deleting the entire example, but let's have some discussion first.
Duckay: I was just thinking, I thought that was the case. The reason the photos came up was that it was the only context in which they remember seeing their other parent.
blackcat why is this sorted by who hates who rather than by media?
Wulf Because the characters' relationships determine how the trope is used more, and there aren't enough examples for there to be a reason to sort by media yet.
