gumby_jd: Hmmm. The entry for the Iceman probably doesn't really belong - after all, his changes in art have come along with rather big power boost as he grows (to the point where he is considered an Omega-level mutant and one of the twelve most powerful mutants on Earth).
Daibhid C: Similarly, there was an explanation for Marrow's new look (and a storyline where she couldn't get used to it).
— Marrow and Callisto both had shapechanging plots slapped on them, but this did not change the fact they were drawn prettier and prettier pre-shape changing plots. And Meltdown was a young teen when first introduced, teens grow and change and mature NATURALLY.

Can we please have a different page image? Neither of them looks particularly ill, but if I try very, very hard to see signs of distress, the picture on the right has a blush (could say it's sign of fever) and oddly drawn eyes. Hardly the poster child for freaky-to-Generic Cuteness shifts. They're both generically cute.
