Working Title: Pika Pika: From YKTTW
I spotted something in this sentence: "The symptom is repeating its own name or a part thereof over and over. It's especially strange when one considers that dogs don't go around saying "dog! dog!" et cetera" In many languages, animals are named for the sounds they make - as in "Mau" being the Egyptian word for "cat," "bob-white" being onomatopeia for the sound of that bird's song, etc. I think this deserves a mention in the article.
i8246i: Removed the Tigger reference; Tigger may sometimes refer to himself in the third person, and constantly talks about himself as a member of a species (but the only one), but doesn't fit this trope. Tigger speaks intelligibly, its just his *extreme* resources of energy and friendship that make up his character. ....Curse you, tvtropes, now I have to go watch the original cartoon again...
What about the Hige-Hige dan from Bomberman Jetterz ?
