CAD: It seems to me like this is more of a general trope, whereas Everything Fades is more about a specific video game engine limitation (Just look at the saturation of examples there). If not cut, a split would be very possible here.
OotS Fan: I agree with previous views here. Everything Fades IS enough. Cut it.
