These are all the limits in Kingdom Hearts 2: List of Limits Main Party Members

• Trinity - Activated by equipping the "Trinity Limit" ability, it is perhaps the most powerful Limit technique alongside "Eternal Session". After being activated, Sora, Donald and Goofy can each execute a special move. Sora slashes enemies rapidly using the Keyblade, Donald uses Ultima to heavily damage all enemies nearby, and Goofy uses Major Drive to shoot Drive Orbs at enemies. Each of these special techniques can only be performed once during the Limit. The finishing move is Combo, in which the three put their weapons together and create a field of magical energy that heavily damages all enemies while sweeping them into the air (if you're fighting a boss, he/she will stay grounded).

Ultima, Major Drive and Combo can only be activated if both Goofy and Donald are in the party. If only one or neither of them is with Sora, the Limit will be executed but no special abilities will be gained - Sora will perform an extremely rapid combo attack with the Keyblade by using the Reaction Command Break, although he is still invincible while the Limit bar is active. He can do this roughly three times before the limit ends. Despite its dampened power this way, this Limit is the only one that can be activated by Sora alone, making it useful for solo battles.

Donald Duck

• Duck Flare - Activated by equipping the "Flare Force" ability. Donald calls forth a series of rockets that seek out targets. The finishing move is Megaduck Flare, and Donald calls forth a barrage of rockets to attack many enemies. While the Limit attack is active, Sora carries Donald with him.

• Comet - Activated by equipping the "Fantasia" ability. Donald attacks an enemy with blasts of magical energy, knocking them into the air. The finishing move is Comet Rain, where Donald slams his staff downwards and calls forth a ring of energy around him, damaging many enemies. While the Limit attack is active, Donald follows Sora around in a bubble of magical energy.

Goofy

• Whirli-Goof - Activated by equipping the "Tornado Fusion" ability. Goofy and Sora spin around to damage enemies. The damage escalates to Whirli-Goofra, then the finisher, Whirli-Goofga, which allows them to roll around like a wheel.

• Knocksmash - Activated by equipping the "Teamwork" ability. Goofy and Sora hit enemies nearby with their weapons several times. Eventually, Duo Raid allows them to throw their weapons towards enemies, similar to the Strike Raid ability. The finisher Cosmo Boost launches Goofy like a rocket, damaging all enemies he hits.

World-Exclusive Party Members Each world-specific character has a special Limit that s/he can perform. In each of them, Sora and the other party member can typically perform one of two abilities, depending on if Sora uses the Attack command, or the Reaction command. It is possible to press both buttons at the same time repeatedly for a more effective results.

Mulan

• Red Rocket - Activated by equipping the "Dragonblaze" ability. The Limit begins by having Mushu appear and fire a barrage of fireballs. Afterwards, Flametongue causes Sora to leap towards enemies surrounding himself in flame, and Heat Lance causes Mulan to fire a series of fireballs from her hand. The finishing move is Red Meteor, where Mushu spits a volley of fireballs into the air, and the three land on the ground as the fireballs impact around them, damaging enemies.

Beast

• Twin Howl - Activated by equipping the "Howling Moon" ability. The Limit begins by having Sora and Beast roar, damaging enemies nearby. Afterwards, Outcry causes Sora to dash towards enemies in a flurry of slashes, and Stalwart Fang causes Beast to slam the ground and damage nearby enemies. The finishing move is Last Howl, in which Sora and Beast stand back to back and let out another howl, damaging nearby enemies.

Auron

• Bushido - Activated by equipping the "Overdrive" ability. The Limit begins by having Sora and Auron stand back to back and slash around them. Afterwards, the commands allowed alternate between Shooting Star, in which Auron/Sora spin around to attack enemies, and Banishing Blade, where they leaps towards enemies and slice downwards with their weapons - Sora and Auron can both execute these commands, depending on if one uses the Attack or Reaction command. The finishing move is Spiral, where Sora and Auron slam their weapons into each other and spin them rapidly, causing a large tornado that draws enemies towards it and does heavy damage.

Jack Sparrow

• Bluff - Activated by equipping the "Treasure Isle" ability. The Limit begins by having Jack produce a treasure chest which Sora opens, creating a vortex that draws enemies towards it. Afterwards, Jack leaps into the air, and Jackknife causes him to slash the trapped enemies, and Slasher causes Sora to attack them while on the ground. The finishing move is Final Trap, in which the enemies remain hovering in the air as Jack drops a bomb inside the chest and Sora closes the lid. Jack lands next to Sora, and the two look at each other before fleeing to either side as the chest explodes, damaging nearby enemies.

Jack Skellington

• Dance Call - Activated by equipping the "Applause, Applause" ability. The Limit begins by having Jack spin Sora around, damaging enemies. Afterwards, Jack spins in the air above Sora, and Synchronization causes Sora and Jack to conjure a glowing pumpkin that releases ghosts to damage enemies, and the Downbeat command functions identically save for a different animation for Sora and Jack. The finishing move is Finale, in which Jack flings Sora into the air as a flurry of ghosts and bats fly around them to damage enemies, and Sora lands in front of Jack and the two pose as explosions light up from the ground in a shower of confetti.

Aladdin

• Speedster - Activated by equipping the "Trick Fantasy" ability. The Limit begins by having Aladdin draw his sword, the screen goes black as a series of slash marks and exclamation points go off, and when the scene reappears Aladdin leans on Sora's shoulder as enemies are damaged. Afterwards, Quickplay causes either Sora or Aladdin (depend on if the Attack or Reaction command is used) to leap towards enemies slashing quickly. The finishing move is Trickster, in which Sora and Aladdin leap up and touch their feet, then leap off each other. The screen goes black again, and more slash marks and exclamation points are seen. The scene reappears as Sora and Aladdin land crouching next to each other, and jump up to slap hands as enemies around them are damaged with large amounts of small drive orbs falling from the enemies and then being drawn to Sora. The amount of orbs obtained varies depending on how large the enemy is.

Simba

• Wildcat - Activated by equipping the "King's Pride" ability. The Limit begins by having Sora and Simba leap up and slam their paws into the ground, causing rocks to erupt around them and damaging enemies. Afterwards, X-Claw causes Sora and Simba to dash towards enemies slashing furiously, and High Fang causes them to spin in the air towards enemies very quickly. The finishing move is Proud Roar, in which Sora and Simba stand beside each other and roar loudly, creating an energy field around them that damages enemies.

Tron

• Setup - Activated by equipping the "Complete Compliment" ability. The Limit begins by having Tron call forth several streams of data code around his hands, after which Sora flings the Keyblade upwards, damaging enemies. Afterwards, Burst Pulse causes Sora and Tron to call a field of rotating geometric shapes around them, and Cluster Code causes them to send out a wave of shapes at enemies. The finishing move is Reprogram, in which Tron calls forth a circle of data in front of Sora, and Sora slams his hand into it, creating several spinning shapes which fly around the air rapidly, causing heavy damage to enemies that touch them.

Riku

• Session - Activated by equipping the "Eternal Session" ability, it is perhaps the most powerful Limit technique alongside Trinity. The Limit begins by having Sora and Riku initiate a series of combos, then execute a series of quick jabbing attacks together. Afterwards, Last Saber launches a series of jabs again, and Dark Cannon launches a series of fireballs. After either of these abilities is used enough times, Master Hearts is used, and Sora and Riku swing their Keyblades to unleash a series of long-range slashes. Then, XIII Blades can be used to summon a series of energy swords to swing around them, and Master Hearts can also be used again. Finally, All's End is used, in which Sora and Riku throw their Keyblades into the air. The two weapons fire beams of light and dark energy at each other, drawing all enemies towards them and doing heavy damage in a flash of light. The Limit ends with Sora and Riku catching their Keyblades and knocking fists together.

Summons

Sora can use Limit attacks with his Summoning allies in Kingdom Hearts II. Each of them has a different attack, depending on their abilities. Chicken Little FPS (First Person Shooter) - In this mode, you can target the enemy through a scope and will have two abilities. One will throw firecrackers at the enemy, knocking them back and stopping them from moving; the other lets him throw baseballs to stun and damage the enemy. You can end the limit by pressing the Square button.

Genie

Genie's forms and Limits change according to which the Drive Forms Sora obtained and commands him to change into. Genie changes through drive forms extremely fast. After Genie releases an attack for a time, he is able to perform a finishing touch, but only if the player chooses to.

• Valor

Sonic Rave: Genie turns into a Giant hand that Sora uses to smack enemies.

• Wisdom

Judgment: Genie shoots several magic bullets then Sora spins him around shooting several that home in.

• Master

Arcana: Genie first begins spinning around with physical attacks then changes himself into a giant mouth, having Sora shoot magic bullets with Genie's Keyblade copy

• Final

Infinity: Genie punches and slashes around at a very fast rate leaving enemies stunned, then ends with enemies stopped in midair as Sora spins Genie's Keyblade and Genie counts down from three, releasing a damaging explosion.

Stitch

• Ohana - Sends Sora into the TV screen and use three combined attacks, Ukulele, Shoot, and Blast. All attacks are available to choose.

"Shoot" allows Stitch to use his alien guns on their opponents one by one. By performing "Ukulele" allows Sora and Stitch to utilize their opponents and then release HP orbs from their bodies. "Blast" is most likely to be performed before the Time Gauge runs out in order to perform more effective attacks, as the Limit ends once this move is performed.

While performing this combo, Sora and Stitch are standing in front of the TV screen instead of facing their opponents. While the Limit goes on, the player can use the analog sticks to move around and find opponents that are nearby.

Peter Pan

• Neverland

(Tiny Fairy/Flying boy => Journey's End) With the aid of Peter's limit, Sora can Fly! Using the second joystick to move up and down. It begins with pictures of Sora's first visit to Neverland in the first Kingdom Hearts. With Tiny Fairy, Tinker Bell sends out a few attacks to the enemy. When using Flying Boy, Sora and Peter do a back flip in midair, damaging enemies (Also releases orbs during underworld tournaments, even if the enemy is invulnerable, such as Assassins). Afterwards, it ends with Journey's End which shows images of Sora sealing Neverland's keyhole and damages all enemies nearby.

Xemnas

• All-Vanity (オールヴァニティ Ōru Vaniti?)- During All-Vanity, Xemnas summons a barrier around himself, and then hovers around the field. Any enemies that Xemnas's barrier touches will take damage, and cannot deal damage to Xemnas.

During Xemnas's Final Limit, Xemnas creates two large powerful lasers from his hands that he fires around himself at a long range. Any enemies that are hit take heavy damage.

Xigbar

• Xigbar's Limit Break is called Critical Snipe (クリティカルスナイプ Kuritikaru Sunaipu?)- During Critical Snipe, Xigbar's gameplay goes into a first-person shooter mode. He combines his two gun arrows into one, and fires powerful larger forms of his bullets from them. Enemies hit take damage and are temporarily stunned.

During Xigbar's Final Limit, Xigbar's bullets become larger, more powerful, and can be fired at a faster rate. Instead of simply being larger, they become a sphere of pink, white, and blue energy. Their strength is shown by the ripples they make in space as they are fired. Enemies that are hit take heavy damage. Xigbar's Limit Break is very similar to an attack he uses in Kingdom Hearts II, in which he fires at Sora from above in a first-person shooter mode.

Xaldin

• Dragoon Storm ll(ドラグーンストーム Doragūn Sutōmu?)- During Dragoon Storm, Xaldin's swirls his lances around his in powerful bursts. Enemies that are hit take wind damage, and are pushed away from Xaldin.

During Xaldin's Final Limit, Xaldin can launch himself into the air, and come down with a mighty blow onto one enemy. Faithful to his name, this is a similar technique to the Jump ability that can be used by Dragoons in the Final Fantasy video game series.

Vexen

• Diamond Dust (ダイヤモンドダスト Daiyamondo Dasuto?)- During Diamond Dust, Vexen summons three large mounds of ice to come up from the ground to strike enemies, dealing ice damage to and freezing all struck enemies. Enemies that are frozen take three times as much damage while frozen.

During Vexen's Final Limit, Vexen's three mounds of ice are replaced by one larger glacier. This deals greater ice damage to enemies, and temporarily makes them gradually lose HP. It also freezes them for awhile. Diamond Dust is the name of a Sleight that Vexen could use in Riku's story in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. During the attack, Vexen summons an unavoidable blizzard to damage Riku. In the remake, this attack would not end unless if Riku ended it with a card break. Diamond Dust is named after an attack used by a recurring summon from the Final Fantasy series, Shiva.

Lexaeus

• Ayers Rock (エアーズロック Eāzu Rokku?)- During Ayers Rock, Lexaeus can perform a "charged" attack. Once the Limit Break begins, Lexaeus can charge his energy, as shown by a red aura around him; he then can release the stored energy in a powerful tomahawk smash, dealing devastating damage to the target. The attack is then followed up by a shockwave. The longer the player charges before releasing this attack, the stronger the attack will be. Depending on the amount charged, this attack can even be performed twice before obtaining Final Limits.

Alternatively, the player can choose not to charge this attack at all. If so, Lexaeus will perform a swing attack with his weapon. This can be done several times during one Limit Break. During Lexaeus's Final Limit, Lexaeus's weapon becomes engulfed in rock before releasing the charged attack, increasing the strength and range of the attack by also adding a large addition of earth to the weapon length-wise. Ayers Rock is completely identical to an attack that Lexaeus can use during his battle with Riku in Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories.

Zexion

• Meteor Mirage (メテオミラージュ Meteo Mirāju?)- During Meteor Mirage, Zexion and his open lexicon are brought into the air. While in the air, a ball of light appears in front of Zexion's lexicon, symbolizing that it is the source of the attack. Zexion summons many balls of dark indigo energy to bomb the field, dealing a large amount of damage to enemies hit by the barrage. During the bombardment, Zexion can slowly move around to hit enemies that are further away with the meteors.

During Zexion's Final Limit, Zexion exerts more power into his lexicon for the attack, as shown by his different pose. The meteors that he summons are larger and more plentiful.

Saïx

• Berserk (ベルセルク Beruseruku?)- During Berserk, Saïx goes into a berserk stage; he jumps around the field, dealing devastating damage to enemies that he comes down hitting with his claymore. Each smashing attack is followed up by a shockwave.

During Saïx's Final Limit, Saïx goes into an even more berserk stage; He comes down to attack even more often, and exerts a sphere of his strength straight from himself while in the air before coming down. The shockwaves that come after each attack also increase in range. Berserk is completely identical to Saïx's main attack from his battle with Sora in Kingdom Hearts II.

Axel

• Explosion (エクスプロージョン Ekusupurōjon?)- During Explosion, Axel throws his chakrams at enemies while they're engulfed in fire, creating a small explosion of fire afterwards. While not being thrown, Axel's chakrams spin rapidly, gathering fire. However, they can be thrown at any time, and do not need to charge.

During Axel's Final Limit, Axel combines his two flaming chakrams into one enormous flaming chakram, easily many times larger than the two chakrams. The explosion after the attack is also much larger. Explosion is completely identical to a Sleight that could be used by Axel in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, called Firetooth. During Firetooth, Axel repeatedly throws his flaming chakrams at Sora, leaving him unable to attack until the Sleight ended. In the remake, this attack would not end unless if Sora ended it with a card break.

Demyx

• Wave Gigs (ウェイブギグス Weibu Gigusu?)- During Wave Gigs, Demyx jams out on his sitar, summoning up large pillars of water to rise and strike enemies. Enemies that are hit by the pillars take water damage.

During Demyx's Final Limit, Demyx releases a large ball of water while jamming out on his sitar. The ball creates a watery explosing that knocks enemies back and deals water damage. Wave Gigs is completely identical to one of Demyx's main attacks from his battle with Sora in Kingdom Hearts II.

Luxord

• Jackpot (ジャックポット Jakkupotto?)- During Jackpot, Luxord summons a card in front of him, which has a flashing symbol similar to Roxas’s pendant. The symbol will quickly stop flashing, at which time the card explodes.

During Luxord’s Final Limit, Luxord summons two cards in front of him instead of one. Because of this, the explosion is larger, does more damage, and now surrounds Luxord to deal damage to more enemies.

Marluxia

• Bloom-Out (ブルームアウト Burūmu Auto?)- During Bloom-Out, Marluxia begins to charge an attack while a large black ring forms around him. Once the attack finishes charging and the black ring is completely formed, Marluxia swings his scythe multiple times over a large area on the black ring.

During Marluxia’s Final Limit, Marluxia swings his scythe more frequently, and each swing is followed by the release of a large, crescent-shaped projectile. Marluxia’s Final Limit is very similar to a Sleight that he can use in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. This is because that the projectiles are both crescent-shaped, pink, and are meant to be similar to the head of a scythe.

Larxene

• Voltic Rush (ボルティックラッシュ Borutikku Rasshu?)- During Voltic Rush, Larxene rapidly slashes away at her enemies, dealing lightning damage.

During Larxene’s Final Limit, Larxene darts around the field while enveloped in lightning, making her even faster. She also deals even more lightning damage to enemies. Larxene’s Limit Break is very similar to her fighting style in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix.

Roxas

• Event Horizon (イベントホライズン Ibento Horaizun?)- During Event Horizon, Roxas very rapidly goes around the field while his Keyblade is enveloped in light, slashing away at enemies with great strength.

During Roxas’s Final Limit, Roxas summons four thin pillars of light to quickly move in straight paths to ends of the field, dealing heavy damage to any enemies in their path. Roxas’s Final Limit is completely identical to an attack that he uses during his battle with Sora in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix.

Xion

• Event Horizon; it is identical in every way to Roxas’s Limit Break- During Event Horizon, Xion quickly goes around the field with her Keyblade cloaked in light, slashing away at enemies with great strength.

Xion’s Final Limit is also identical to Roxas’s Final Limit. During her Final Limit, Xion summons four thin pillars of light to quickly move in straight paths to ends of the field, dealing heavy damage to any enemies in their path.

Donald

• Fantasia (ファンタジア Fantajia?)- During Fantasia, Donald summons many small, colorful explosions to appear, heavily damaging any enemies that get hit.

During Donald’s Final Limit, many colorful explosions circle around Donald while he is in midair. The explosions are also somewhat larger, and therefore do much more damage. Donald’s Limit Break is completely identical in every way to one of his Limits from Kingdom Hearts II, called Comet. The name Fantasia is also the name of the ability that Donald equips to use this Limit.

Goofy

• Teamwork (ウニゾンアスリート Unizon Asurīto?, lit. "Unison Athlete")- During Teamwork, Goofy repeatedly launches himself over short distances, leaving a trail of air behind him. Any enemies that Goofy hits take heavy damage.

During Goofy’s Final Limit, Goofy launches himself over a longer distance. Because of the longer distance traveled, Goofy gathers more acceleration. This adds more force to Goofy’s launch, which means that he does more damage. Goofy’s Limit Break is very similar to the final phase of his Knocksmash Limit from Kingdom Hearts II. In this Limit’s final phase, Goofy is launched around the field by Sora, leaving behind the same trail of air that is left behind by his Limit Break. The name Teamwork is also the name of the ability that Goofy equips to use this Limit.

Riku

• Darkstrom (ダークストローム Dākusutorōmu?)- During Darkstrom, Riku quickly darts around the field with his Keyblade in front of him, attacking enemies in his way. With each dash, he is surrounded in small but plentiful strands of darkness.

During Riku’s Final Limit, Riku envelopes his Keyblade in light, very much like Roxas’s and Xion’s Limit Breaks. He then makes powerful slash attacks, dealing heavy damage. Although his weapon also becomes enveloped in light, Riku’s Final Limit is not as speedy as Roxas’s or Xion’s Limit Breaks. Riku’s Limit Break is very similar to his Dark Aura Sleight from Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. Both involved dashing around the battle field with the power of darkness.

King Mickey

• Pearl (ホーリー Hōrī?, lit "Holy")- During Pearl, King Mickey is surrounded by hovering balls of light around him. He summons thin beams of light to come from above directly onto enemies. He can also charge up to create a thicker and stronger beam of light. If charged up completely, there will be one huge beam and three thinner beams surrounding the huge beam in a triangle formation. The balls of light work as a shield to attack enemies if they get close to King Mickey, and the beams of light deal devastating damage to the enemies that they come directly down upon.

King Mickey’s Limit Break is extremely similar to an ability that can be used by Queen Minnie in Kingdom Hearts II. Her ability is also called Pearl. During Queen Minnie’s Pearl, Queen Minnie summons large pillars of light to strike enemies. However, the pillars of light in Queen Minnie’s ability do not come directly down on enemies like those in King Mickey’s Limit Break do. King Mickey's Limit Break is also similar in name and ability to the spell he uses in Kingdom Hearts II by pressing when playing as King Mickey.

Sora

• Ragnarok (ラグナロク Ragunaroku?)- During Ragnarok, Sora is lifted into the air. While airborne, Sora gathers thin lasers into a sphere, and then releases them after a certain period of time. The waiting time is for the player to aim the lasers in the right direction. Once the lasers are released, they home in on enemies, dealing great damage to those hit.

During Sora’s Final Limit, Sora releases a trio of spinning capsule-shaped objects along with the lasers. The trio of orange objects travels in a straight line, dealing devastating damage to enemies in its path. Sora’s Limit Break is completely identical to an ability Sora can use in Kingdom Hearts, a Sleight he can use in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and an ability accessible through Limit Form in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix.

Dual-Wield Roxas

• Magic Hour (マジックアワー Majikku Awā?)- During Magic Hour, Roxas leaps into the air and shoots up a beam of light with his joined Keyblades. By doing so, he summons many large pillars of light to repeatedly come down onto the battle field. Enemies that get hit take devastating damage.

During Dual-Wield Roxas’s Final Limit, Roxas uses even more power, as shown by his different pose. Roxas himself even becomes coated in light during this Final Limit. The pillars of light that he summons are even larger, and deal an even greater amount of damage.
