Aozame: Naraku is for all intents and purposes unkillable for a large part of the series, and before that he was pretty close to it (his tendency to bolt whenever things went south didn't hurt, either). It's not so much that no one's tried to kill him as no one's succeeded yet...

It's BS, and I'll be the first to say it, as I don't like Naraku one bit. Killed two of my favorite characters, you know...

Webrunner: You can yell at people to shoot the Joker, but it's happened before(once he got shot point blank in the face) and he survived.

Falcon Pain: ...after yesterday's (1/22/08) news, the name of this trope feels like a "Funny Aneurysm" Moment to me.

Vulpy: On that note, I work in a pharmacy. You'd be surprised how little people think of taking too much alprazolam (Xanax) and/or mixing it with alcohol. While I'm not allowed to say much, I want to say "You know that killed The Joker, right? And that The Joker isn't supposed to die, ever?" Heck, the list on this website reads like some patient profiles I see.

It's on my mind now (Jun 26 2009) because of rumors of the agent that might be responsible for Michael Jackson's death. Prescription drug abuse is bad, kiddies.

Mr Etaoin Shrdlu: Moved the Weird Al quote to Thou Shalt Not Kill, because it makes more sense there.
