Tabby: Re: the puppies in Kingdom Hearts, the only world where there aren't any is Atlantica. I find it terribly amusing that some designer apparently decided that while puppies imprisoned in treasure chests were perfectly sensible, puppies imprisoned in treasure chests underwater crossed a line.
Re: The Zelda example: who's waiting for Nintendo to mix it up a bit and have the dungeon weapon in a random small chest that you wouldn't bother opening anyway because all the other ones have a single rupee or some other pointless stuff? And in the same vein, have a big post-subboss-battle chest have an insignificant item?
