Working Title: I Am Your Opponent: From YKTTW

Larry D: Does the Street Fighter Alpha 3 example actually use the phrase? The situation is appropriate, but this is a stock phrase trope, after all.

Barano: Er, isn't this entry sort of... wrong? It seems to assume that the phrase is a challenge, but it actually means "I am your opponent (so you should fight me not someone else)" and it's usually used when the speaker's opponent is a) distracted and/or wants to enter another fight, or b) when the speaker wants to disengage his arch nemesis from another fight to have him fight him (the speaker) instead. It's not as much a challenge as a "hey, you were fighting me/you're my arch nemesis, remember?"
