Puck: How does this differ from Geometric Magic? This seems to be focusing on Manga and Anime that use occidental-flavored magic signs, but wouldn't it make more sense just to lump it with the Western examples that inspired it?
Anonymous Mc Cartneyfan: Geometric Magic is a type of Hermetic Magic, but it's not the only type. Tarot cards in traditional layouts and spells made out of Bible codes would count as hermetic magic as well.
There should be more western examples here, though I've done theorizing to why there aren't. But lumping this into Geometric Magic would be going the wrong way.
