Seven Seals: Heh, I remember how incredibly annoying this was in KOTOR 2. You almost never reached your destination intact, because your ship would be shot down by someone -- cue cutscene. The writers probably thought it was a really convenient way to get the player into trouble. Heavens forbid you just arrive at your destination and take care of matters.
On the other hand, it also had you making an airdrop on a war droid, which sort of made up for it.
Ununnilium: ...so is this trope about the transportation, or about the transportation getting destroyed? Does it have to be an actual boat? I'm confused.
Eakin Whoever linked that RP Gworld strip may want to double check the archives for the right strip, because the linked one has NOTHING to do with boats.
