Kilyle: I'm so glad I'm not the only one who objects to Penance to the very core of the idea. Gratifying. Personally, if I had more spare time, and were more inclined to write torture fics to begin with (not at all my usual fare), I could see myself devising ingenious torments for the writers who came up with Penance. 'Spose it'd help if I actually knew their names. 'Spose I'm glad I don't.
