RedBeardSean I sometimes refer to this as the "whipping name" of the character. It's yelled by a parent when the transgressor child is due for a whipping. Okay, so that's rather archaic, but time outs are generally not assigned by parents once they've reached the Full Name Ultimatum stage.

((DTF 955)) Agreed, it depends on the parent as far as whether it means a harsh punishment - I know those who use it for something before longer timeouts (if that timeout is followed by being grounded.) However, it happens often in real life, so often that this should be in a separate page for ways it mirrors real life. It's nowhere near a trope.
Some countries (like the Philippines) have the middle name as the mother's maiden name. Please add a respective warning.
