I remember that I rewikified the "oblivion shrouding the land" thing a couple of years back after I saw that line had been deleted. I don't think I ever found out who originally put that line in, but it was too Made Of Win to remove. Whoever wrote it is overdue for acclamation. — YYZ
Just sorted the page. The example(s) I left under Miscellaneous look like a separate trope to me - none involve a fainting seer and they all involve drawing impossible card combinations from a tarot deck (impossible because they repeat cards that there's meant to be only one of). Similar to the comedy trope where everybody has a poker hand containing five aces, I suppose. — Richard W
