Morgan Wick: Why, exactly, is Spider-Man the page image? I haven't seen the movies, but it's clearly not referring to the wise-cracking Spider-Man I know. At best it's a Clark Kent Secret Identity.
- Known Unknown: Yeah, I was just about to post that. Spidey may, in some incarnations and/or time periods, have self esteem issues, but he's never cowardly.
Mr Death: Took off the page image. I don't know what the troper was smoking, but being a coward has never been one of Spider-Man's defining traits. Quite the opposite, if anything.
(random passer-by): this is merely a thought, which is why I put it here rather than in the main page. But the article leads me to wonder about something. What is courage, if it isn't doing what has to be done in spite of your own fear?
