Seed: The first paragraph is all wrong. I'm going to plan a rewrite soon, unless someone thinks I shouldn't.
Romulus: Minor point, but The Simpsons episode cited as a Halloween "what if"-ish episode is actually a "normal" episode. (Although it follows the three-story structure and the ending is not cannon.)
