Big T: Tsk, tsk. Somebody forgot to make a redirect for an unpunctuated version. And then I screwed up, so I'll have to wait 20 minutes. Done.
Magicalgnome: Took this out:
- It's not a beating heart and therefore isn't quite as creepy, but the trope's supernatural criterion is fulfilled when Megatron, of Transformers: Beast Wars, cuts out half of Rampage's immortal spark and keeps it in an Energon-lined cage, so that he can torture Rampage into obedience by squeezing it.
Because if it isn't a heart, then it isn't an example.
Inkblot: Why not? The scene follows this trope to the letter, but replaces "spark" with "heart".
