Just for clarification: Is this a female-only thing, or is the trope gender neutral? I'm asking because I'm rather sure that I've seen this in reverse as well, and I'm not sure if I should add exampled and/or neutralify he blurb.
What about Gunther from Friends?! Though he is less abhorrent and more ignored.
Jesus this page has some emotional baggage. Maybe we could cut at least a bit of it?
