Okay, what the hell was with the Dillamond gets Kidnapped and Elphaba and Fiyero try to save him bit? What version of Wicked did the OT watch? What fanfiction was read?

Inkblot: Oh god, is this confusing. I can't tell when the article refers to the book Wicked and when (if ever) it refers to the Oz book.

Mads: Can we separate the examples in this article by book vs. musical? You know, have "The book provides examples of..." and then "The musical provides examples of..." I think it would be a great benefit to the clarity of the article.

Freezair For A Limited Time: That'd be good—the Howl's Moving Castle page is similar. But I've sadly only seen the musical, so I wouldn't know what tropes are exclusive to it...

Majutsukai: Done and done.

Would it be worth noting that over on IM Db, the consensus view is that either Tim Burton or Joel Schumacher should direct the (inevitable) film version?

Seems to have been a few edits about it lately, but I do believe Glinda had red hair in the wicked books. Move Adaptation Dye-Job to the musical? Or just split it by saying the books went with the movie version while the musical made her blonde?

Cambdoranononononono: Is this really Canon Defilement? It's an External Retcon, certainly, but I didn't get the impression that the book is utterly despised.
